This game will be criticised no matter what. The obvious comparison will be NCAA 11. What needs to be understood is that NCAA 11 is so much better than last year because last years game looked & played so poorly. The scope to improve Madden 10 on the field both in terms of visuals & gameplay is not so great so therefore Madden 11 will be great to play but there won't be such a wow feeling that NCAA 11 delivered.
That said the fact that Franchise Mode is untouched is not right.
I'm also disappointed that it EA have not developed the Extra Point show any further. In fact some reports have suggested the feature has been dropped completely. Although the execution of the Extra Point show in Madden 10 was poor it was an interesting addition & a feature that with more time & effort could have been made into something that stood out.
It will be interesting to see how much Gus brings to the commentary aspect of the game. Commentary in EA games is poor across the board. It always seems generic & repetitive. 2K have proved that impressive, dynamic commentary is a possibility on both their NBA 2K10 & MLB 2K10 games
What I am sure of is that Madden 11 will deliver another solid if not groundbreaking NFL experience.

madden 11 will be AWESOME

Im not hyped at all and Im not buying the game on release day but Im getting bored of NCAA 11 already so Im gonna buy it on the weekend after the release.

I am only really looking forward into being in Online leagues, and to hear that they haven't revamped to much in the online league, to go with the demo play....it hurts to rate this game so low...

i think the negative buzz has lowered expectations - the game will be better, as a result.

really looking forward to it!

A more refined Madden experience and the updated roster makes it an insta-buy for me.
