just leaves a lot to be disired. for the technology out here and what we're paying for the game it could be a lot better.

For the first time in a LONG time I've traded Madden in before the season ended and before I finished one season in Dynasty. NCAA went with it. While I enjoyed the on field gameplay of NCAA, both series have grown stale.

Madden's gameplay (defense in particular) was a joke this year. The playbooks were cut by 25%u0025 and you could see the shift towards the casual/online gamer who simply likes to score and wants to score often. Further, too much emphasis on Madden Ultimate Team (another way to nickel and dime the user base) and while I like the concept of Madden Moments, they should not be premium pay to play content.

With a young family my gaming time is limited and there is simply too many quality games out to waste my time on this old stale EA style of football with the direction it's headed.

NCAA & Madden were traded for Kirby's Epic Yarn and 15.00 towards Donkey Kong Country returns.

NBA2K11 is dominating my sports gaming, I'm enjoying UFC 2010, still have Red Dead Redemption, Mario Galaxy 2, and a slew of other games sitting on my shelf including Uncharted 2 waiting to be beat.

Too much competition for a lackluster EA Football product to contend with.

For my Football fix I'm picking up Backbreaker from Gamefly for 10 bucks and I still have AFP 08 in the collection.

NCAA rules this year.
Even Madden 08 was funnier to play.

EA has a mind of its own and the blatant favoritism they show for NE, MINN, Dallas, GB and SD every year just gets on my last nerve. Favre sucks.... he still rates a Mid/High 80's. One good game, he shoots up 1 - 3 points even though he threw more INTs than TDs but had a lot of yardage... Even though they were down. Brady out... NE still rated in High 80s. Dallas, Minn under .500 and getting blown out..... Still High 80s.

This shows a blatant favoritism because these are the producers teams that they root for!

Every Madden fan knows this and if they deny it, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF F*N LIARS!!!!!

their football formula is so old and out dated, i gave up on them as with MANY other people. If they want to survive any longer, they HAVE to change it up. Physics based tackles, different engines.... Their sales are getting worse and worse every year and its because people are tired of the same old **** with a new gimmick.

This is the best news I've read in weeks!!! I was a Madden fan years ago, but since then, the game has been nothing more than a piece of junk!! I hope that NFL license put such a strangle hold on EA that they're going to have to find a way out! And when they do... 2K can kick EA right in their greedy balls once and for all!!! Just like they did in the past!

very disapointing, unrealistic , cartoonish representation of football.I'm glad I have NFL 2k5 though the graphics may not be as polished(Not saying Maddens funky looking models are great .) but the game play and presentation are fantastic.I like a game when the character feels weighted and not like an iceskater.Very upset that this is the only game in town it's just a regergitation of 10.These guys really need to watch football and care about their product. How hard is it to give probowlers their helmets and if you can't get the player models right give us the option to change them like in NCAA11.
