This title is so tired and stale, there is nothing left to cheer about. What, the high def graphics, while players "skate" and morph through each other. Pro-Tac, locamotion, lead blocking control, passing vision cone, playmaker control, are you kidding me, this game hasnt really innovated since they were late to the PS1 party. Even Gameday had them beat back then.

every year we get all these promises, every year they dont pan out

I think with a deeper franchise mode (which is yet to be talked about [gotta have faith]) and all the presentation upgrades (see last parenthetical) plus blocking upgrades, which greatly improve game play for me, this will be the madden that lasts longer for most of the fall and possibly into winter.

Hoping that this by far the best madden ever! Wish the rookie draft class game would come back before draft.

They are just NOW learning how to make the players run correctly? good lord!

I like the locomotion and playbook improvements.

Bleh, people still play this game?

Gameplay improvements (locomotion), speeding up the gameplay, and the simpler - yet more realistic game planning - would have been huge upgrades on their own. Together, they make Madden 11 worth buying right now.

I'm intrigued by what we've heard so far...
