It was alright. Just think with the immersion factor of Nba 2k lately that EA has a very long way to go just to catch up with the franchise modes.

Too many issues out of the box. Compile that with poor post release support and you have a recipe for disaster. It's still a great game, but is it worth $60? No. the gameplay tended to be solid but there were too many back end issues as well as problems with deteriorated graphics pre and post patch.

The glitches were/are pretty damn bad. But overall I still thoroughly enjoy the NCAA football experience I get out of this game.

I like this game. I read a lot of bad things about it, but I have not any issues with it. The coaching carousel is great and I am having a lot of fun with it.

I play the heck out of it, but let's face it...

Overall, it's inferior to past PS2 titles, which is just....sad...

Too many bug, glitches, washed out graphics in addition to the producers inabilty to fix things because they don't understand their own code. 3 is a kind score. If I took away 1 point for every major blunder in this game, it may get a negative rating.

This game flat out wasn't ready when it was released and far too many issues th went unfixed. Stadium sounds not fading out properly, "3D grass" looked aful during gameplay, coaching progression too high, player tendencies changing with recruits, superhuman LB's jumping, defensive line getting pancaked when you user control then, and not being able change quarter length in Road To Glory should have been things that were patched and were not. Varsity level was ruined after the 1st patch and that level played the best in the past IMO. You had one patch that broke no huddle and another released to fix it. Then you have ONE tuner set that was released. Defensive AI (specifically the option, deep pass, and CB's standing around), and FG logic on Heisman was terrible and kickers attempted long FG's often.

This game wasn't ready when it was released and the EA team wasn't willing, able, or ready to fix the problems in it. Then you look at presentation which wasn't touched at all and you have basically the same thing as NCAA 11.

Im a rabid NCAA gamer and college football fan and I have finished ONE dynasty season since I purchased it on July, and I didn't even have Madden to distract me.

Shame on EA for not addressing the glaring issues in this game.

So many bugs. Poor release.
