I don't know much about Backbreaker, besides all the talk I've heard about this tackling system. Sounds gimmicky to me, another over the top football game? My opinion is based off of screenshots only

Hmm, I am looking forward to this if nothing but to finally see how that much ballyhooed engine pans out. Since it's the first year, I am not expecting a lot of depth though.

Wow, impressive. If someone could just talk EA into using this tech. Madden and NCAA are the games to play and buy more than likely for obvious reasons, but the Natrual Motion folks really have something on their hands here. Looks like this game may be a blast to play.

It's hard to get "Hyped" for a game with such little info other than the promise of natural motion graphics. If nothing else it should re-energize the "competition" into developing a similar engine into their game.

I'm trying to get hyped-up for this game (I even signed-up on the official BackBreaker message boards), but I'm not quite on the band-wagon yet.

Everything I've read so far sounds excellent, but there's just not enough info about this games intangibles for me to get overly excited just yet.

We'll see how it shapes up.

If this game is fully customizable, I think it could be one of the most popular games on this website. This the type of thing that people would spend hours creating rosters, stadiums, teams, leagues, etc.

Weather or not you're a fan of Madden or not; and weather or not you like what All Pro 2K8 brought to the table; you've got to like what "could be" with Backbreaker in 2008!
Between Euphoria/ Natural Motion, the way the development team is interacting with the community, and the need to fill some gaps Madden and All Pro don't cover, there's much to like about what "could be" with this game.
However, a lot remains to me seen.... hype doesn't win the type of fan that populates this community.
