A solid game. The CPU defense still has that annoying catch up logic which makes all the players feel about the same speed but otherwise I'm liking the extra loose pucks and rebounds. Feels much more organic now.

Overall it's a great experiance. I would like to see the Be A Pro mode add some of the off the ice elements found in NBA 2K, but the addition of playing a full CHL career is good enough this year. To me it's the equivelent of NBA 2K adding a full college career to the My Player mode.

It's not that much of an improvement over NHL 11. There are new, rather small differences, but the overall package is about the same. I would recommend it to someone who has never played an NHL game or a die-hard hockey fan like myself.

BAD!
cause i got 1000 freezes and bugs, i cant play the game!!!
im on PS3 and i think if u search the Internet u ll see there are way 2 many Freezes and Bugs this year!
so iam pissed, i cant play the Game. (exept 3-4- Play Now Games, or WC)

Im DONE with the Game for now... i got the Full reatail version since last tuesday Sep. 6!)

Yes, it's an improved game but it feels more like NHL 10 version 2 rather than a whole new game...
