Xenith Partners with Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019

Canuck Play & Spear Interactive have partnered with Xenith to include their helmets and facemasks in Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019.

Last month, the team partnered with Phil Steele’s College Football, to include their branding within the US Dynasty Mode. They have also partnered up with Phenom Elite, to include their gloves and brand in the game, and with Wilson Sporting Goods, to use the Wilson GST football, as the official game ball.

For more details about the game, make sure to read our interview with the team, back in December 2018.

PETERBOROUGH, Ontario (April 2, 2019) – Canuck Play & Spear Interactive have partnered with Xenith to include their helmets and facemasks in Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019.

“Having an official helmet partner was important to us, which is why we are so excited to add Xenith into the game.” said David Winter, President of Canuck Play. “Our community and Patreon subscribers were particularly vocal about including Xenith, so we are pleased we could formalize this partnership for them.”

Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football has announced several equipment partnerships over the past months, but Xenith is the first helmet and facemask provider to be included in the game. Gamers will be able to customize their in-game players to wear either the Xenith Shadow, Epic+ or X2E and select from various facemask and eye-shield options.

Xenith was founded to disrupt tradition and create better protective gear and since inception, they have been at the forefront of protective innovation. Xenith products are designed for the needs of committed athletes at all levels of competition. Xenith is the industry leader in football helmet technology and the company’s mission is to develop and distribute the best equipment in the world. Xenith helmets are widely used at different playing levels including: Youth, Varsity, CFL, NCAA and NFL.

Doug Flutie’s Maximum Football 2019 will be available in September 2019 and Xenith products are available at www.xenith.com.

Congrats. This is a nice addition and I will definitely be purchasing this year for sure now.
How many different masks will we be able to chose from?

There should be 10 or so.

This is huge for you guys.
Any chance of other helmet providers making it in this year? Or just Xenith for now?
This is a great get for you guys. I’m happy to see it. But, in all honesty, none of these great partnerships are going to matter if gameplay isn’t vastly improved. I bought 18 mainly as a way just to show my token of support. But, admittedly, I haven’t played it for more than a couple hours. I quite literally can’t complete a pass. And it’s not me. I’m a more than adequate Madden player. I loved NCAA and 2K. I grew up on Tecmo Super Bowl. All of these bells and whistles are phenomenal. But if the gameplay isn’t vastly improved, it’s hard to see this picking up the steam that I think we all hope it does. Here’s to hoping that it’s leaps and bounds above 18. 👍🏻

We reached out to all the major players. Xenith was the only one we were able to get done.
So what!! How many more of these equipment stories are we going to see? I want to know what former 2k employees that worked on 2k have partnered with them. What gameplay elements are being added?  So I will be able to wear nice gloves and new style helmet, great!! Give me some substance already!

Gameplay is always being improved and we have a ton of new animations being added as well.

We recorded over 400 new animations at 120 FPS. Lots of footage of that motion capture session is on YouTube and our Instagram.

Bruh....You do realize its only 2 guys working on the game right? And with limited resources. They're working on the gameplay as we speak, and Im sure that at the right time we'll get all that info too...Getting partners such as Phil Steele and Xenith equipment etc are huge in the scheme of things to come. These are all victories. We all want a college FB game (a playable game at that), but show some respect, and some common decency that these guys are even here making these kind of strides for US. #BuzzKill
I like the progress but was disappointed they didn't release 18 on PC. I'd much rather play where there is team mod support but understand their decision being a small team. If/when they bring it back to PC I'll pick it up and support these guys. Always open to new options for football.

    I still need gameplay

Relax my g... let them work.
We not asking Madden or 2K for gameplay yet... we shouldn't do it to them.
ANYWAY, CONGRATS ON ANOTHER PARTNER SPEAR!

This game costs money. The consumer has a right to ask for better (or good) gameplay. Stop being snowflakes.

Lol We aren’t being snowflakes. Chill out. All we are saying is good things come to those who wait and in the end you hold the ultimate buying power. No one is forcing you to hand over your hard earned money. To be honest, if your that worried about the cost of a video game purchase then maybe you should re-evaluate your hobby my man. Let the team create it’s product.
