Madden 21 Next-Gen Stadiums - A Look at All 32 Stadiums and Player Walkouts
One of the hopes when moving to Madden 21 on next-gen consoles was that the stadiums would both be more accurate and come more alive. Prince is here to sort of take that thought experiment through its paces with a look at all 32 stadiums and the player walkouts that also exist to highlight these stadiums.
The lighting in the stadiums has certainly improved, especially after this gnarly bug got touched up that was previously blinding poor Browns fans (haven’t they been through enough?). However, I’m sure folks on OS could still find lots of inaccuracies with the stadiums, and much of the “alive” touches still take place more in cutscenes and post play rather than feeling like it’s all happening down on the field.
Still, you can see all the Madden 21 next-gen stadiums and judge for yourself how your favorite team looks now.
The biggest trademark of Heinz Field aside from the giant ketchup bottles is the bright yellow seats. And of course they're orange on Madden. As always, great attention to detail, EA. 👍🏻🙄
That's the spirit, now grab the real Heinz Field and the one in the game from this video and you can pop it in here if you want, or in this thread. If we get a bunch of these I'll even do a new article on them. :)
Not into soccer at all, but I did watch a few videos of FIFA next gen, it’s shocking how much better the crowd reactions, noise, and look of the spectators are in that game in comparison to Madden. The environments are so sterile in Madden, they really need to focus the presentation aspect of the game on proper crowd dynamic reaction to situations on the field. There should be swells during pivotal moments, and vocal explosions on game winners and late games that are close. Again, FIFA and especially 2k are just so far past Madden in this specific area it’s nothing short of depressing.
If you're talking about the fan cutscenes, I *think* all of the stadiums have orange seats, not just Heinz Field. It was something I noticed as well.
