Checking is over the top
Interference isn't called enough
Line changes are broken
Custom Soundtracks play to low (can't change the goal horn)
Players still play too much a like. (Superstars and 4th liners play the same).
BAP AI offline is sorry at best.

Not enough of a step up over 08.

This is imo one of the most entertaining games I've bought in a long time. I've found it to be very difficult to put the controller down once I start playing.

A lot of improvements for the most part, but they're minor. It still feels like NHL 08 to me...not that there's anything wrong with that. If it ain't broke...

It's great to see them build on NHL 08, adding Be A Pro and the MMO aspect of the EASHL should up the replay value. Here's hoping the EA servers can handle the volume and that we have some "real" 6 on 6 hockey.

I think this one will be like Madden 05 was to the Madden series. The best games are always the ones where defense catches up to the offense.
