Major League Baseball 2K8 News, Strategy Guides, Screenshots & Videos

I'm very skeptical about this game. 2K7 was decent, but so far nothing I have seen or read about 2K8 leads me to believe it will be too much better than 2K7. The pitching does sound awesome, though.

I'll give this a rent prior to purchasing it. Hopefully it's a step up from this year but it's hard to get excited about any other baseball game after playing MLB '08: The Show demo.

Football's my sport and game, but there's something about the new baseball season and games that really drives me nuts!
2k has got to step up to the plate this year- last years game was admittedly better, but it still lacked in many areas; such as hit variety, animations, authenticity, depth, and user control. If they can fix these holes and add some new flare, presentation, and graphical goodies; we'll all be in for a treat!

After watching those videos of the Yankees/Mets game, I can't wait until this game comes out. The hitting looks much improved from last year, with the hit variety and actually being able to hit foul balls.

This game looks to have some improvements from last years installment. I am really excited about having 90 minor league teams, and some real minor league stadiums. I am not a big fan of the new pitching mechanic and am glad you can revert back to last years. I will check out demo, and possible buy.

The more and more that gets released for this game, the more and more excited I get.

I'm hopeful for this game. I think that if they really did fix the hitting and fielding, that this game could be really good. The pitching looks intriguing as well.

I am taking a "wait and see" approach with this game. I liked what was done to spruce up the game last year, but still way too many issues to make it a top notch game.. from what I have read, it does look promising, but it doesn't matter until I get my greedy little "mitts" on it.
