2K continues their NBA 2K20 simulation through the NBA Playoffs and Finals, picking up from the conclusion of the regular season simulation, which simulated the remaining games of the 2019-20 NBA season since March 11. Each team in the simulation had their rosters set to their current status, when the NBA went on hiatus, and 2K virtually played out the slate.
The standings at the conclusion of the regular season simulation are below, showing the following 16 teams who qualified for the playoffs and setting up exciting first round match-ups:
