Are you doing a roster?
He does but he won't mention it much for some reason.

Don’t increases occur gradually when playing season mode or mygm.
While this practice helped me put roster editing on the map, in practice it is very inefficient and would only hamper the update process. Accounting for all those changes is very time consuming, with only limited audience appeal.
The overwhelmingly vast majority of 2K gamers simply don't care about trivial details like +3 Hands or +5 Pass Perception.
Any custom roster editor worth their salt should be able to replicate what 2K does without needing a rating list. I haven't looked at a single attribute change they've made all season. With the expansion of badges, it's barely even important anymore.
Do you edit badges (Using your own data)in your roster or do you prefer to match what badge changes 2K adds/removed in their latest update?
Also, wouldn’t you consider Paul George the SG in lineups when he’s not the SF, & Mo Harkless the SF/PF depending if Kawhi is on the floor too? Based on lineup data via B-ball-ref & Cleaning the Glass, I’d go with the above personally.
Lastly, have you started to dive into tendencies at all? I’d say the most important are:
- Roll vs Pop
- Drive & Attack vs Pass Out
- Touches
- Transition Spot-up vs Cut
- Spot-Up Mid/3, Off-Screen Mid/3
- Spot-Up Drive, Spot-Up Off-Screen
- Shot Under/Shot Close/Shot Mid/Shot 3
- Dunk/Layup Tendencies
- Eliminate TT Idle for Guards, Adjust Pump Fakes etc for bigs etc.
I am tracking their changes as I am currently in "learning phase".
I consider Harkless the SG because for these reasons:
1. The alternate starter is Landry Shamet.
Patrick Patterson was only a starter until Paul George returned. Harkless didn't become a starter until Shamet went down around the same time.
2. His BBRef position split is currently 45/44/11 (SG/SF/PF)
Top lineups
Beverley-Harkless-Leonard-George-Zubac (166 mins)
Williams-Harkless-Leonard-Green-Harrell
Williams-McGruder-Harkless-Green-Harrell

Williams-Beverley-Harkless-George-Harrell
Williams-Shamet-Harklesss-Patterson-Zubac
Beverley-Harkless-Leonard-George-Harrell
Beverley-Williams-Harkless-Leonard-Harrell
Williams-Shamet-Harkless-Green-Harrell
Williams-Robinson-Harkless-Green-Harrell
FWIW BBRef data isn't perfect. For example they consider Lou Williams a SG in lineups w/ Beverley, while I consider Beverley a SG (since he is the one that typically guards up a position, as well as plays off-ball). Some amount of nuance is required to parse it.
Harkless is a SF in pretty much any non-Kawhi lineup. I consider it telling that Harkless often pairs with Williams/Beverley in these lineups rather than with Shamet. Harkless has only played 108 minutes with Shamet this season (10th among his teammates)
3. His rebounding is down (SG is weakest reb position in league).
DRB% (300+ mins)
25.0 Green
24.8 Zubac
21.7 Kawhi
17.3 George
16.6 Beverley
15.9 Patterson
15.5 Harrell
12.6 McGruder
12.5 Robinson
11.3 Harkless
8.6 Williams
6.5 Shamet
Harkless falls into the guard group. SG has a dampening effect on rebounds. I don't think most fans intrinsically realize that PGs are actually better rebounders than SGs in today's NBA.

I am always accepting suggestions for tendencies. Much of the existing info out there either does not deal in specifics, or is circumstantial/outdated/misinformed. If all it took to "fix" the game were copy/pasting SimWorld data (for example), I think it would have been done already.
