UPDATE: (4-30) Just a heads up, while GameStop still shows a July 15 release date, the team that actually makes them (Arcade1Up), mentions the cabinets have left production and are on the way shortly. If you were one of the cool cats that pre-ordered, let us know when it arrives!

The NBA Jam cabinet, features not only the original NBA Jam, but also includes NBA Jam Tournament Edition and NBA Hang Time.

John Diamonon, senior vice president of licensing and business development at Arcade1UP, confirmed the games will feature online multiplayer support, free of charge.

The original rosters will be included, for the most part. Unfortunately, they were unable to get rights to some of the players.

For those asking, Charles Barkley is on the NBA Jam roster. Here’s a video showing off the full rosters for NBA Jam and NBA Hang Time, courtesy of COOLTOY. He also includes some of the menu settings and options you can change.

Play 2 on 2 basketball with NBA legends and pull off some over the top slam dunks in this classic arcade game. Get some ridiculous hangtime and set the ball on fire in this over-the-top sports game!

NBA Jam is a classic arcade basketball game developed and published back in 1993 and is the first entry to the NBA Jam series. The game features 2 on 2 basketball and is one of the first sports games to feature real and digitized NBA-licensed teams and players! Although it features real players and teams, the game focuses on fun and emphasizes on exaggerated actions. Unlike most Basketball video games, this one features no fouls, no free throws, no violations (except for goaltending and 24-second violation), and so much more.
