  1. Even though i don't play the park, I'm just amazed at how much content they are able to fit into their game!  I mean look at how deep their modes are.  There's something for all demographics.  But yet that NFL football game can't even manage to figure out how to have referees on the field saying it's a memory issue... Really?  Just sayin....There's levels to this...
I still wish we've gotten actual parks to play in. Rucker, venice, Dyckman...make it legit looking.
Outdoor pro am sounds interesting at least...

So even though they said it’s not the same neighborhood, it’s the same neighborhood just with more skins.
I don’t really care, but it seems dishonest.

Ehh it’s going to be a no for me dawg. Same ol lark with even more stupid/gimmicky stuff we don’t want or need. That lets me know that the park will be just as empty as it was last year. Will have to skip out on the game this year.
I saw people in the WNBA thread complaining about females being added when they should be complaining about this instead.

It's impressive. 2K could get away with doing far less by having less modes or less substance to their modes but they do a great job of making sure every mode is fully featured. It's one of the reasons I buy the game every year. I never really get the feeling that 2k took a year off or just released a glorified roster update. People who are mainly concerned with the on court NBA aspect of the game might wish 2k focused on that aspect but it's hard to argue that the product as a whole is one of the most fully featured videogames each year. There are some modes that could probably be successful as their on stand alone game.
In the short amount of time they have every year to make a game I don't see why people are up in arms about the neighborhood...I've noticed it takes 2k two years to implement something brand new into the game ex(WNBA,the neighborhood we have now)so I already came to terms that "new courts" weren't going to be in this year, but instead more fleshed out events and skins for the current neighborhood..."new" parks might be next year

Huh? They changed the Neighborhood in one year. 2 years for the WNBA? They could've added it anytime, so why say 2 years?

neighborhood was basically 2 years worked on in 17 and 18 (18 I consider the beta ''test'' neighborhood to what we finally had in 19)and they worked on the wnba for 2 years (18-19 they were mo capping wnba players) to get it right authentically...everything seems to happen in 2s with them thats a major change
Surprised they don't use the courts that they are spiffying up for their court restoration program that are in actual neighborhoods. Not sure if the park and neighborhood is a waste, but I like how the other game allows you to squad up and ball at a "real" venue/court. It is nice to see all the additions they added.
Gave people something to take a break from basketball with, but will it take my mind off of any game flaws is yet to be seen. Diggin what I've seen so far.

Would actually play the mode if it was real life courts. Way too kiddy for me in its current form. Geared towards the colourful fortnite kids crowd imo.
All the Neighbourhood has been since they introduced it is a walking and waiting simulator designed to sell advertising.
Wake me up when they introduce some kind of quick matchmaking system where I can boot up the game and just play 3 on 3 without waiting half an hour for 1 game against idiots who only play against people with lower ratings than theirs.
All this other crap they keep adding means nothing until that point.
Eh, it’s basketball. Just give us a better array of backgrounds/courts to play on to make things a little less boring.
Also, Jordan rec needs to take place outside a lame empty gym. There’s no reason why pickup games have to be lifeless.
    in 2k21 there needs to be 1 on 1 2 on 2 3 on 3 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 in the neighborhood
and also sign some real NBA players that play the game to have them challenge u for vc and as a insendvite for them to play make them a 99 and if u play them its on hof
    also have a 60-65 level 65-70 level 70-75 level 75-80 level 80-85 level 90-92 level 93-95 level 96-97 level and 98 and 99's get their own parks
Wait... do people think there's a dev team to listen and address all the complaints AND a dev team to work on a whole new game the moment the latest instalment is out??????
Could have spend their time learning about how post play and rebounding are skills by themselves rather then focussing on so much nonesense that has nothing to do with basketball....

Even the casuals under their Instagram posts are not falling for the okey doke this time.

Trailer was cool. I'll dabble in park every once in a while like I do every year.

Would love a "shoot-around court" in neighborhood. So you can work on your game and warm-up, without having to go up to your own dumb mycourt(which I rarely ever used).

Yeah, I would definitely be in favor of this as well. Probably won't be as much of an issue next year though with the expected improvements to load times on the next gen consoles.
Dont care about 'the neighborhood.'  Separate MyPlayer/MyCourt from MyCareer.
Starting to get a madden vibe, Stagnant franchise, skippable "story" mode and a narrowing focus on the microtransaction modes.
    See what next-gen brings.

Exactly first ones to say "2k20 is arse" , but later when it comes out "Heres how to make Best Steph Curry Build!!! #DemiGod #Handlez4Dayz #StraightWavez"
    Happens EVERY year

Serious question. What's stopping 2k from adding actual courts like Rucker Park, Dyckman, etc? Is it because EA has exclusivity to them or? I honestly believe it'd be a great move to add traditional street ball courts. This looks like a Fortnite trailer lol

Well they're aiming their product towards the Fortnite community nowadays so it shouldn't be surprising.
Guarantee their marketing department employs a Behavioural Psychologist or two whose whole job is to help them target young people with addictive personalities... it's pretty gross.

Just use the Pro Am arena, it’s way quicker

I'd like to believe it's because of EA exclusivity but NoLeaf is right. We're not the audience anymore and 2k is after that sweet fortnite money.

Its funny you said that. Theres were these videos being recommended to me about boycotting 2K20 and predatory practices (Jack something... I never watched it). Now I'm seeing best build and glitch recommended vids from the same dude. I bet he played those dudes to grow his channel. Bet!

Why the Fck they add all that useless park **** and WNBA when they could’ve just improved the ACTUAL BASKETBALL PLAY?

This comment really bothers me...they DID improve the gameplay. Whether or not it works as intended by developers once it reaches the general population will be a different story.

This park stuff has been here for years now. Move along if the mode doesn't interest you.

    Completely different teams man.
They worked on all of it
Why does it have to be one or the other?

For the love of god just bring back the 3v3 quick match for mycareer. MyPark sounded dope as **** when it was first introduced. Then you realize it takes damn near 20 minutes just to get into an actual game. Ain't nobody got time for that in 2019
Which reminds me...how much of this new cool fancy stuff will be made available for the offline players to enjoy.
The last 2k I put much time into was 2k18 and without online that really isn't anything for your MyPlayer to do.

If I'm thinking of the same person, he said that he would support mycareer yet spend no money on myTeam. Which makes no sense to me, but whatever.
I welcome any new neighborhood stuff, but just hope that i can get a game in an efficient manner without needing 2 friends
