We captured a bunch of hi-res screenshots from the NBA 2K19 Take the Crown trailer, that was released yesterday. Check them out and let us know what you see.

He could be a bit bigger, but he still isn't near as big as Dwight, despite the size he's gained.
Although not nearly as crisp as what Steve posted, I actually really liked what I saw length wise out of Gordon's player model here. He looks like an NBA player. Hopefully it's not just the angle, and the body types are much improved this year.
No so sure ; it seems that there's only 1 body type.
Look at Giannis, look at your screenshot, all the players seems to have the same arms, shoulders (but fortunately not the same lenght).

That better be on Arcade sliders lol. That’s a dunk completion dunk and shouldn’t happen during a real NBA game.
Obs: minor thing but the ball is finally orange! LOL
Gallinari's boxing out for a rebound at perimeter. hard working man for sure.
It was too dark in 2K15, 2K18 and it seems to be the same thing in 2K19.
But lighting was great on 2K14 (PS4/XB1) and 2K16.
Pretty good in 2K17 but colors were too satured.
I could be in the minority but I don't mind having some over the top dunks and alleyoops as long as they aren't happening every single game and are done with the right players. It's part of what makes videogames fun and exciting. It's not like Aaron Gordon is incapable of throwing that down irl. He's had some nice in game dunks.

There a number of reverse alleyoops that countdown and in dunks 2 and 3 he clutches like he did in the 2K clip.
Crazy things happen in real life. Gianni's jumped over a dude last year to throw down a lob. I wouldn't want 2K going overboard with over the top animations but I like having the possibility of a player doing something incredible every now and then. I feel like 2K handles it pretty well. 2K is usually a year round game for me and I strictly play NBA games. Can't remember the last 2K game where I felt they went overboard with the dunks and animations.

That looks nice, until you notice that Deandre Jordan's upper body is being sucked into his waist. XD
They really need to completely redo their player models from the waist down, and tighten up both the jerseys and the shorts. Those are the most egregious issues for me, even more than the stadium lighting. The uniform fit has been a problem for years.

It's not too bad if they're kept to realistic situations. But here, his head is at rim level, which, even in that top 10 video you linked, never happened.

It's a few things. The legs in general are too short across the board. It also seems like the models don't exist from the waist to the thigh (including the butt). Basically it looks like they have a stomach, then no actual body under their clothes from there until the top of the thigh. The shorts (and jerseys) are way too loose, which really emphasizes the other issues.
Yep, they ain't got @$$.
Idk, from what I've seen, Live's faces are hit/miss in terms of player accuracy. Harden in Live 19 looks weird, Derozan looks 100% better in 2K, and Jojo's hair is horrendous in Live which is terrible for EA considering he's the cover athlete. They nailed CP3, Russ and KD in Live though.
All of the players in Live look really dead in the eyes though, but only some of 2K's faces look kinda dead if that makes any sense. In the trailer, Lebron, KAT, and Kemba looked absolutely alive. Steph and Giannis imo looked a little dead.

This must be why the shorts are still so big - to cover this up?
Just speculating.
