MLB The Show 20 plays at a silky smooth 4K at 60FPS on the PlayStation 5. The big thing with the upgrade from PS4 Pro to PS5 is the more consistent frame rate, and the ability to play on the “sharper” 2160p setting at 60 FPS now on PS5. Before, you would never want to do that in most scenarios, and you can see in the side by side the frame dip present on PS4 Pro. The HDR on/off is just one other comparison to see.
MLB The Show 21 details are coming sometime in 2021. Hopefully, it’s really early in the year.
