Not nearly as inspired as the first EA Skate game... In fact it's not even as good.

Played the first one a little bit at a friend's house, liked what they were trying to do with the controls, although that seemed to also give the game a tough learning curve. I will try the demo if they put one out and see if it's any good, but I haven't bought a skating game in a long time.

Didn't play the first Skate, but reading the impressions and reviews of the first Skate title, I may atleast be renting this one, giving it a shot.

Skate 1 was fun and frustrating at the same time. I'm not sure if I'll pick this up on day one or not, but I'll give it a spin sometime. I'm glad to see we can get off the boards this time around.
