RTTS 2.0 is a great step forward for a mode that was very well done in 07. The new goal system makes it even more immersive, and gives you a reason to care about the outcome of every at-bat and every putout (even in blowouts).

MLB '08: The Show may have the best presentation of any sports video game I have ever played. The pitcher-batter interface and some of the resulting battles are the best I've seen in a baseball game. The only minor complaint I have about this game is some of the collision detection is a bit off (players near a wall) or missing entirely (players running through each other). I bought a PS3 specifically for this game and this game justified every cent of the $500 I spent. Early candidate for sports game of the year.
