20 years after its release and I still come back to this game. The franchise mode for this game was so far a head of its time (still is honestly). Played many, many seasons and will always think fondly of it. Not many sports games stand the test of time.

By far the best Madden on the PS2 console, the game is deep (minicamp, 2 minute drill, owner/franchise mode, madden cards, tournament, etc), I love the feel of the gameplay, you could edit historic teams for the first time, and the soundtrack is dope!

Madden 2004 (PS2) is probably my favorite...Vick was unstoppable in it....I hope Madden can regain the swagger it had six years ago!

Edited: I thought this was a great football game personally one of my fav.

It was my first Madden and it is still without a doubt my favorite of the entire series, of which I have played everyone since.
