is there any way that we can see exactly what attributes were changed so we can update our edited rosters other than going into each player manually?

Doubt it but the fastest way to update your edited roster would just export the DNA and import the attributes back in your set.

That guy from a few years ago who was constantly complaining about Derrick Rose being rated too low is sitting somewhere happy as can be.
I'm really just over the Intangibles band-aid and will now be posting OVR ratings alongside their Intangibles-free versions.

Its absolutely hilarious (and sad/frustrating/maddening) how 2k fools everyone with the intangibles rating... ugh

I just use it as a way to get guys to their proper rotational spot. Like how Hornets have Monk and Bridges getting little to no minutes I raised their intangibles and dropped Kaminsky, H-Gomez, and Bismack, Parker down.
The entire Brooklyn Nets squad is an arbitrarily-inflated joke.

Thats totally fine you're not the company providing "roster updates."
The intangibles rating is a useful tool for things like you described such as helping the CPU teams make their lineups if you don't control 30 teams in ML. It also is helpful when tweaking the types of contract offers a player will get in FA. However, let's not pretend like 2k does it for either of those logical reasons.

Can we please finally update Wendell Carter’s accessories

I doubt they update Wendell Carter anytime soon, they don’t even have the cover athlete Lebron James with correct accessories. Who is in charge of updating accessories anyway? If we’re lucky we might get some accessories and shoe updates by all star weekend.
Merely sorting these three teams by POSITION w/o Intangibles and it becomes crystal clear how utterly atrocious the ratings actually are. I wish there was something constructive that could be said about them .
(I'm aware that I've made hyperbolic statements to this effect in the past that could be perceived as antagonistic, agenda-driven, exaggerated, etc. That's not the case here. My view that these suck is a baseline mathematical).
It is very likely the roster team invests a significant portion of time figuring out "how much Intangibles a player should have" that could just as easily spend adjusting attributes that ACTUALLY mattered.

Some of the changes to the overall is Matt a result of rating being altered?

    Correct.
Intangibles at 25 and intangibles at 99 is a difference of almost 6 overall points. The attribute has literally no purpose other than to change overall ratings without actually changing anything. Not saying this isn't useful (as I mentioned before about CPU lineups and salary demands) but 2k simply uses this rating to avoid doing actual ratings corrections while still appeasing twitter.
Hmmmmm.....I’m not big on stats going up less than a month in so when Embiid didn’t budge after the 1st one I was fine. But he went up 1 pt and he’s posting career-highs in every major category? That’s......curious. 🧐

just curious why is Jayson Tatum overrated he plays like a young kobe

stat-wise, he is far from an 85, young Kobe is around 78 really, I would have Tatum with 81-82 this season, just look at the atrocious Celtics offense

2k has backed themselves into a corner and intangibles are a bandaid. Because so much of the off court game revolves around OVR (rotations, contracts, trade value, etc.) it is a major issue. If players like Kyle Korver (my always go to example, although he is getting old) actually had correct ratings, he would never play and have zero value in trades or Free agency. OVR doesn't account for players with low athleticism but one or two very high level, useful skills (3&D). So not only do they use intangibles to pump up OVR they also overinflate athleticism attributes for bigs (which REALLY impacts game play) and 3&D types.
In addition, OVR is big money and PR. NBA Players tweet about it, fans debate it. 2k knows this, which is why it's so important for them to overinflate high draft picks and to quickly bump up a Derrick Rose this year. Otherwise you get a million posts/tweets on the internet complaining about why so and so isn't a higher OVR or this guy hasn't dropped.
I would be very interested to see how much of the increases in OVR in this update might be related to intangibles. That said, it saddens me that they can bump up Derrick Rose five points on 15 games of evidence but can't fix basic issues with attributes and tendencies that have afflicted certain players for years.
