MLB The Show 20 Roster Update: Starting Pitchers Receive Biggest Boosts

This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

SDS will be doing a weekly MLB The Show 20 roster update during whatever is left of the truncated MLB season. This means attributes will be fluctuating much more than usual, and it also means Diamond Dynasty investors can probably make some pretty big gambles that could pay off in terms of investing in players before the Friday updates.

This week we have six players who went from silver to gold, and then three players who went from gold to diamond.

Gold To Diamond

  • D.J. LeMahieu
  • Sonny Gray
  • Shane Bieber

Sonny Gray got the biggest boost here shooting up five points to an 85 overall. Bieber and LeMahieu were already high diamonds so they’re not as surprising here.

Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom were already diamonds, but they both received boosts as well.

Silver To Gold

  • Mike Soroka
  • Dinelson Lamet
  • David Fletcher
  • Christian Vazquez
  • Carlos Carrasco
  • Brandon Woodruff

Again, pitching was the focus here, and the Reds, Brewers and Indians all made out well overall with their boosts. I would imagine players jumping from silver to gold will be even wilder than the gold to diamond jumps.
