MLB The Show 20 Roster Update: Blackmon, Soto, Gray, Lynn Soar to Diamond While Astros Fall

This week should become the new normal for roster updates. Last week we only had players going up to diamond, and that’s normal for every Show cycle. Most of the time, the developers are quicker to boost ratings than drop them. However, with some more games on file, now we’re going to see more ups and down for the ratings changes. Going Up

  • Juan Soto, Lance Lynn, Charlie Blackmon and Trevor Bauer all went gold to diamond
  • Mookie Betts got boosted (+3) to a 92 overall while Bellinger fell (-2) to 88 overall
  • Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto were rewarded with boosts
  • Shane Bieber continued his climb with another +1 boost

  • Walker Buehler, Pete Alonso, Jose Altuve, George Springer and Charlie Morton all fell from diamond to gold
  • Anthony Rendon and Francisco Lindor also took ratings hits but maintain diamond status

  • Tim Anderson, Salvador Perez, Mike Yastrzemski, Michael Conforto, Kyle Seager, Dylan Bundy, Byron Buxton and Bo Bichette all went from silver to gold. In fact, in Bundy’s case he went from bronze to gold. Bichette and Bundy are the biggest winners this week by far.

  • Rafael Devers, Shohei Ohtani (due in part to position change), Mitch Garver, Madison Bumgarner, Jose Berrios, Gleyber Torres, Eduardo Escobar and Brett Garner all fell from gold to silver
