MLB The Show 20: 12-0 BR Rewards Now Include Roberto Alomar and Billy Wagner

MLB The Show 20 updated its Diamond Dynasty BR rewards today with Signature Series Billy Wagner and Awards Roberto Alomar. Both these players are 99 overall and will now go into the larger 12-0 BR rewards player pool.

12-0 BR Awards: Signature Series Billy Wagner

Signature Series Billy Wagner comes with 122 H/9 and 125 K/9. This version also has much better control than the 94 overall version you get for completing the NL West Live series collection, and he also has a fourth pitch here, the changeup. That changeup could make a big difference with Wagner in terms of boosting his ability to get right-handed hitters out. I have had a lot of success with the 94 overall version this year, so I would suspect this version will be even better.

12-0 BR Rewards: Awards Roberto Alomar

Awards Roberto Alomar also acts as an upgrade on a collection player, this time the 91 overall Roberto Alomar you get for completing the AL East collection. This 99 overall version has improved contact from both sides of the plate, more power, better bunting ability and 125 clutch. Alomar was a pest last year, and with 99 bunting to go with good speed and fielding, he’s certainly one of the better 2B options if you’re looking for more of a two-hole hitter than a cleanup hitter. Plus, never forget he’s a switch hitter as well.

  1. Damn now another reliever who will be super expensive to obtain. Wags would've made more sense as part of the 7th inning program I feel.
They keep passing out free end game hitters like candy and make the end game relievers BR rewards or Headliners other than Mariano.

Well, Wagner was a Program Boss last year (as was Alomar) - so it isn't shocking.
Alomar is the one that I REALLY wanted for my 80s-90s team. I love his swing in the game and his defense (to be fair, I've come around on the Sandberg). It's a LOT of stubs though and with Wagner being the one many will go towards, there may be a low supply; which will drive up his costs.

Well that makes sense. My first ever year doing DD so I wasn't aware of that but we definitely could use some good useable free relievers.

    Hoffman is free
And then gagne being 30k is basically free compared to the rest
You can also get a 91 Alomar and 94 Wagner through collections. Steep price or lots of patience (and 91 Alomar probably obsolete by the time you get him) but I'm not upset about them being the guys here.
