We have been highlighting xAPATHYx’s roster so it does not need much introduction anymore. It is a well put together and cared for custom roster for Madden 20 on Xbox One. Here are the latest updates following the first round of the NFL Draft from xAPATHYx:
A few notes from the Round 1 update:
– I placed Chase Young as starting RE [Redskins]. Washington switched over to a 4-3 defense this offseason. Based off of multiple reports from Washington – I have Sweat and Young as the starting DEs with Kerrigan backing up both positions on the depth chart. Payne and Allen are the starting DTs with Ioannidis being the immediate backup as well as rushing DT on obvious passing downs. All reports are showing that Chase Young will be pursuing #99 which I have him as.
– Several players received rating tweaks based off of draft position.
– I hate this Create a Player option sometimes. Madden makes several of these guys way too big.
Justin Herbert is a perfect example of a player who needs to be skinnier in the game but there’s no way to do it.
Then you have players like Tua and Isaiah Wilson who’s face and hair styles can not be matched by any of the custom faces offered by EA.
– I removed DE Yannick Ngakoue from the Jaguars depth chart (for the time being.) After his Twitter rants and the team selection of edge player Chaisson….the writing seems to be on the wall. If he ends up working out an agreement out I’ll adjust accordingly.
– I moved C/G Cesar Ruiz to backup RG. Coach Sean Payton announced this morning that Larry Warford will be needing to compete for his job with Ruiz so I’m going off of that. I also have Ruiz as the immediate backup to all 3 interior positions on the depth chart.
– 49ers WRs are a mess. So many players with similar OVRs. SF gave up a lot for Aiyuk so I have him in the starting lineup for now. If any 49ers fans want to give me some suggestions on this let me know. I’ll be monitoring SF reports daily.
– OL Isaiah Wilson was placed at starting RT for now [Titans] but it’s looking more and more likely he will start off on the bench for his 1st season behind Kelly. Unless the team gives him a chance to compete at RG.
– Jets offensive line received changes. Becton should be the starting LT with Fant moving over to RT. Alex Lewis should assume his natural LG role with Van Rotten and Winters competing at RG.
– WR CeeDee Lamb announced for now he is taking jersey #10.
Rounds 2-3 will be a similar process today. I’ll be adding more Draft Prospects early in the day as well as additional tweaks.
