FUT Future Stars Zaniolo adds on to the player objectives you may already be working through with the likes of Osimhen and Daniel James. The objectives this time around will be a mix of Squad Battles and Rivals. The 86 overall version looks decent, but first let’s go through the challenges.

Man, a couple of those challenges in Rivals will not be fun to do. Lob through passes and getting wins is not that straight forward because lob through balls are not as good as ground through balls on the whole to me this year (let alone doing it in 7 wins). Getting two volleys will be annoying but not that bad if you get the right opponent. You can do self-volleys if you want to pull this off if you get the space, and at least you don’t need to win the games. Beyond those two challenges, this should not be too big of a hassle beyond the time commitment of just getting wins.
FUT Future Stars Zaniolo
Quick Analysis: The first big issue is Zaniolo did not get any upgrades beyond the ratings. So he’s still three-star skills and weak foot, and he’s medium-medium on work rates. That’s not ideal for a center midfielder. He’s 6-foot-3, which is interesting, but it may also be a negative for some. All in all, I think if this card were a little easier to do I would be on board. However, the Future Stars Barella is just flat out better to me, and I just don’t think Zaniolo adds much to the Serie A teams. Still, happy to see another player objectives card, even if I won’t be doing it.
Upgrade SBCs
80+ Upgrade
- All golds
- Can use UCL (blues) or rare gold cards
- Minimum 45 team chemistry
82-88 Upgrade
- All golds
- Minimum 45 team chemistry
Quick Analysis: I think it’s worth doing each of these at least once. You pay a slightly higher premium for the 80+ because you can technically get a higher-value card, but the 82-88 Upgrade is the safer play. You’ll most likely get meh returns, but I’ve had some good luck on these upgrade SBCs this year.
