Diamond Dynasty Update: Hardware Programs Added
Diamond Dynasty got its next two programs today in the form of Hardware Programs for Brooks Robinson and Ron Guidry. The Guidry Program will add 12 percent to the Dynasty Program upon completion, and the Brooks Robinson Program will add 16 percent to the Dynasty Program upon completion. You will also get a 99-overall Guidry and Robinson when completing these programs.
The Guidry Program involves pulling off various stat accomplishments with Legend pitchers and Yankees pitchers. The Brooks Robinson Program includes pulling off various stat accomplishments with Legend hitters and Orioles players. The toughest Guidry elements to complete will be the 248 strikeouts with Legend pitchers and 9 CG SHO (though you can do these in Conquest games). The toughest Robinson elements to complete will be the 327 fielding assists (any fielders), and 685 plate appearances with Legend hitters. In the short term, it might also be tough to exchange 50,000 points of third basemen with a fielding attribute of 70 or above — the market is a little overpriced right now with everyone rushing to finish this mission.
Battle Royale also got a little boost today in the form of new 12-win rewards:
New 12-0 Rewards
- Hardware Jeff Bagwell (99 overall)
- Hardware Bryce Harper (99)
- Postseason Robin Yount (99)
New 12-Win Rewards
- Hardware Jake Peavy (95)
- Breakout Johnny Damon (92)
You can find pictures of the new Battle Royale cards below, as well as the new programs.
That Bagwell card is legit though, no idea why they didn't make him the program, other than their obsession with trying to force people to give them stubs and play BR. Pretty sad that even this far in they are still making the same greedy decisions they have been all year, Bagwell made so much sense for a program on the week he was inducted into the HoF, but they just don't seem willing to use common sense and take advantage of these opportunities.
Hopefully that Peavy isn't too pricey when it hits market. One of my favorite cards last year.
I skipped on the Brooks mission and sold all my high fielding 3B, lol. Prices were soooo inflated

It was an excellent time to have 50 Chase Headleys and 50 Alex Bregmans
Flashbacks are active players, or players classified as free agents in previous years. So think All Star Iwakuma. Legend are retired players, think All Star Rollie
I know that one. I don't even bother playing BR anymore unless I have a specific challenge for it where wins don't matter

So if they have a live series card they are a flashback? Wish they'd just put it somewhere on the card.
And yeah, I have 15 BR wins of the 50 needed for the diamond program, I doubt I'll ever reach it. Sucks.

On the lists, Legends have an L and flashbacks have <<.
But you're right that there's no indication on the player card. :/

I agree. Forget about flatcout getting beat. You know how many BR I lose because of a random computer generated fielding error? Ugh
