Following his Heisman Trophy win over the weekend, EA Sports celebrated College Football 25 cover athlete Travis Hunter by giving him a signature nickname “The Cheat Code.” The announcement was accompanied by a hype video showcasing the campaign seen below.
EA Sports also elevated Hunter to a 99 overall rating in College Football 25. The rating makes Hunter the first and only player to achieve a 99 OVR since the game’s return earlier this year. Fans can play as the 99 OVR version of Travis Hunter across Play Now, Road to Glory and Dynasty modes.
To celebrate Travis Hunter’s Heisman win, EA Sports has released a limited run of exclusive apparel. “The Cheat Code” tees are available now, with just 1,212 produced in honor of Hunter’s #12. Fans can grab theirs here while supplies last.
Although this roster update only includes changes for one specific player, it’s a good time to remind everyone why player ratings can differ when starting Dynasty Mode in College Football 25.
