We Ranked Every Team Intro in College Football 25. Here’s Who Stands Out

Bring in the mascots.

College Football is a classic American sport. From the players and recruiters to the crowds, stadiums are often overflowing with energy and excitement. However, what sets this sport apart is the festivities and theatrics that take place in the home grounds. Some teams know exactly how to hype up their entries in College Football 25, and that’s what we’ll be discussing today.

While every team has something unique about its intro, today we’re ranking them based on how captivating they are (along with some other factors). From fighter jets to giant drums and live animals, college intros have it all. So stick around to find out where your favorite team is placed.

Ranking Parameters

Before we dive into the actual rankings, let’s break down what they will be based on.

  • Appeal: This one’s pretty straightforward. If an intro isn’t appealing to players, what’s the point? Intros are specifically made to hype up the crowd and get everyone jostling. If it fails to do that, it’s going to rank pretty low on our list.
  • Customization: This was a pretty big factor in ranking a lot of teams. While everyone has favorites, a team with no special customizations (e.g, mascots in College Football 25) in their intro seems pretty dull. Most teams with generic entries are rated on the lower side.
  • Camera Angles: There wasn’t too much variation in camera angles. This factor sort of segregated the good intros from the best ones. Different camera angles just make the entries more curated and interesting.
  • Traditions: Similar to customization, traditions are essential in College Football. Even though customization is important, following traditions is what makes the intros pop off.
  • Crowd Noise: An ecstatic crowd can easily elevate the intro in our eyes. The more noise a crowd makes, the better the intro looks. This inadvertently makes the entries more appealing and shoots them up the list.

This was to give you a general idea of how we ranked all the intros. Without further waiting, let’s get down to business.

Top 5 Best Intros in College Football 25

There are over 130+ intros in the full list, but we know the real interest lies in the top 5. So, let’s take a look at who made the cut for our top 5 and why:

Florida Gators

The Florida Gators took our top spot for best intro and deservedly so. Their intro not only takes their traditions into account, but unique fan interactions take it to another level. First off, they have a gator-themed mascot. While that’s cool, touching a metallic gator statue coming out is what caught my eye.

The sign at the entrance of the locker room isn’t a generic motivational poster, but again points to their gator-theme, reading, “THE SWAMP: Only gators make it out alive.” Last but not least, you have the fans making chomping signs with their arms, which is totally unique to the Florida Gators. All in all, their College Football 25 intro cannot be beaten.

Airforce Falcons

Animal mascots are cool and all, but having fighter jets announce your arrival is on a different level altogether. The Air Force Falcons are introduced by four fighter jets strafing over the stadium, followed by a snippet of the crowd full of Air Force cadets.

The team then runs into the stadium with some hyped up commentary. These cadets aren’t here to go back empty-handed, so you better bring your A-game.

Arizona State Sun Devils

Next, we’ve got the Arizona State Sun Devils. They boast a devil-themed mascot, aligning with their customization. The pitchfork straight into the ground is a nice touch and establishes dominance.

When entering the stadium, the team appears from behind a statue of a player with the no.42 jersey. This is a tribute to Pat Tillman, a former Sun Devil linebacker. He left to enlist in the U.S Army and lost his life overseas, which is why the Sun Devils honour him with a statue in every game.

Clemson Tigers

Ever thought of being welcomed by a full-blown cannon? If that sounds cool, it’s exactly how the entry for the Clemson Tigers goes. This extraordinary team runs downhill, greeting fans along the way after the cannon goes off.

They also have a tiger mascot, followed by the camera panning to the crowd and showing orange and purple everywhere. This indicates an enormous fanbase (even in-game) and places it in our top 5 intros.

Colorado Buffaloes

The Colorado Buffaloes wanted to make their intro unique, and they definitely succeeded in doing so. Since their mascot is a buffalo, they decided to bring a live one onto the field as well. Upon their entry, the team is preceded by a live buffalo covering the length of the pitch, after which the team runs out.

Becoming one of the most popular intros in the game, the Colorado Buffaloes’ risk paid off. You can also see their mascot at the end of the entry, hyping up the crowd for an energy-packed stadium.
