I’m interested to learn more about this:

The thing that really kept me from enjoying last year’s game was the inability to use a more standard batting control setup with the non arcade pitch types. Hopefully this change means I don’t have to use the “hold and release” batting control from last year.
Especially given the show isn’t coming to PC this year (booooooo), I’m hoping this year’s version of RBI will be a good one.
Definitely looks like the hottest baseball game of 2008!

Yeah, with The Show coming to Xbox...the sales for this probably won't be too pretty. Some competition would be nice, but that's a tall order.
These guys need to buy the "Super Mega Baseball" franchise and just reskin it with MLB teams, name, stadiums. Then you would have a good game. I agree with a previous post, if this was 2008 it might be worth a look.
Or just get MLB2K's engine or EA's MVP engine and improve on it!.....This is getting really silly now. lol With the new next gen consoles available now this is the best they can do?...SMH

That's actually not a bad idea. I wish the RBI devs would just go more for a fun game of arcadish baseball with real rosters rather than a simulation approach that they've been *trying* to achieve, but not really getting there. That said, Super Mega Baseball actually plays more sim than this does.
Honestly agree with the comments here if we are talking about consoles.
The truth of the matter is, if you think 9f this game as just a mobile game, its fairly decent.
I will pick this up for my phone for sure.
ppl really rag on this game but it looks like mlb 2k2.0 now
it has day to night
camera modes etc now
and not for nothing the ps5 version of the other game isnt worth the 70 bux after seeing the "next gen" reveal

Please stay far away from SMB, I prefer the it the way it is.
I can see getting this game on mobile and enjoying it, but who is honestly choosing this game over The Show? What is their target demographic with this series?

They're hoping people desperate for a baseball game will buy it in March to hold them over until The Show is released?
I can see myself picking this game up this year Mainly because they have created player I hope they have a lot of audio names to choose from.
Visually I have seen this game take strides in the right direction. Competition is a good thing

I will get it for the Switch or for my phone but just to have something on the go. It's nice that they added commentary and a few other things but there is no way they can compete on the Xbox now with The Show coming to that platform.
