Official MLB The Show 19 Roster Update Details (4/5)

The official MLB The Show 19 roster update is available now, adding over 20 new players, including rookies Fernando Tatis Jr. (Padres), Eloy Jimenez (White Sox), Pete Alonso (Mets) and Yusei Kikuchi (Mariners). It also has a bunch of transactions.

  1. Is there anywhere to view all of the new players and players who’s attributes were updated? Last year you could view this on the show nation or on the main hub of the game.

    Did Nick Hoerner make it in for the Cubs?
    Nico Hoerner is in AA. They cannot put him in the SCEA rosters because he has yet to spend a day on an MLB 25 man roster. Only players who are technically apart of the MLBPA can be in the game and to be in the MLBPA you must be promoted. So any minor leaguer with zero service time cannot be added. Unless something drastic changes with the Cubs, Hoerner will not be in the Show 19 until the very end of the year if he so makes it up by then (which I'd doubt barring injury).

    Wonder why they didn’t add RP Nick Anderson of the Miami Marlins.
    I'm sure its because his paperwork wasnt done in time. I'd be mildly surprised if he isnt in 1 of the next 2 updates
