  1. Now I guess I'm showing my age,did not recognize any of those bands. When I watch a game I recognize 90% of the music. This is not hockey music.Guess they can't afford good bands.
I'm going to assume that since there's this licensed soundtrack, that the goal songs are not in the game again. Sigh. I'd rather have the authenticity of the in-game experience.

    You're not alone.
I wouldn't know any of these bands if I ran them over with my truck.
I wish they'd allow for interoperability with music streaming services.
I have an Amazon Music account. Would be cool if they'd let me use my playlists for both menu music as well as ingame house music.

This soundtrack isn't even half bad lol. Classic boomer syndrome of "I've never heard of it so it can't be any good"
If you've never heard of these bands, how would you know if they're any good?

Clowns,so we make a comment on the choice of bands that we think don't belong in a hockey game and you call us Clowns.Comments like that don't belong here.

Shhhh, don't tell him what music is most played in an NHL building.
BTW, I've tried listening to new music. I spent 2+ hours in my car during my daily commute with my Sirius/XM radio and listened to anything and everything.
I guess I prefer music that's made with actual instruments and not an Operating System.

Exactly,I can name 90% of the music played at a game by artist and song title.I agree with you regarding music these days.
I happened to stumble upon an old video clip from one of my favorite bands Teenage Head, not a household name. They were talking about being at a leafs game and had their song Let's Shake after a leafs goal. They were super pumped. They had the real goal songs I believe in NHL 16.That added to the realism.

NHL hasn't had a listenable soundtrack this generation, so it's easy to extrapolate that 21 will have a dismal soundtrack. I did like the Silversun Pickups song in NHL 20, so that's probably my favorite OST this gen, with 1 good song.

Lazy Eye is a great tune.
