Broadcast cam makes this game look a lot better than it looks on standard cam this year.

I've felt this true of previous Maddens too , maybe it's just the mental thing of seeing it in a manner more associated with a tv broadcast and less associated with a video game though
Fooled me a few times thinking its was my mouse cursor in the middle lol
I wish someone would ask what type of settings to expect on PC and what card the game is running on.
2:05 mark shows synched celebration animations on sideline.
The first play which resulted in a sack, the RB/Fb block animation on the pass rusher looked bad. Not believable.

omg did you see what they called a catch at the 13:17 mark??? :brickwall
its a no purchase for me

Watched it in .25 speed, both feet were in. Why would it not be a catch?

Sack on the first play...uh oh.

Cox was stoned walled at the los, all of the sudden he sheds the block and turbos 20 yards to sack the Qb! DT's don't get a push up the middle it's stonewalled for a fews secs then a clean breakaway to the Qb.
...What exactly happened at 8:50 lol
I yearn for the day that they're able to figure out end of half/game logic. WR is running down the sidelines and just randomly decides not to go out of bounds and then the offense huddles up with a running clock and 30 seconds remaining in the half. Wentz is easily outside the pocket but decides to take a sack and use a timeout instead of throwing it away. Sigh.

Sucks, because the game's graphics alone really make me want to buy this game. But still too many of the same old problems exist.
Frustrating to see there is still a total lack of end of half/game strategy by CPU.   With under 50 seconds left, Eagles WR chooses to be tackled in bounds when the obvious choice was to step out of bounds.  Then to make it worse, Eagles show no sense of urgency and just huddle back up.   By the time they run their next play, only 18 seconds remain and Wentz takes a sack when he was way outside the pocket and could see the defender running him down.  Any QB there would flick the ball out of bounds to stop the clock.   Instead, they are forced to use their last timeout with 12 seconds left.   I understand CPU AI in late game situations in complex to get right with so many different factors, but to be this bad year after year is frustrating.

This was a glitch -- they got Wentz's AI mixed up with McNabb's ...
The end of game/half strategy could be fixed with a simple change in philosophy. Obviously they have the game set to accept a field goal at all times if a TD is not needed at the moment. That's why inside 2 minutes of the 2nd quarter,  once the offense gets into field goal range, the urgency disappears. If they would just tune the AI to strive for a TD at all times and only SETTLE for a field goal when the TD attempts fail, we would see better late half/game performance from the AI. Or, just simply keeping the hurry up offense going until the half is done would suffice.
Again with short quarters hard to tell but another video that has given me zero confidence that the cpu will be able to generate any running game whatsoever.
The gameplay is subject to change, but the game looks bad.. looks pretty bad. I guess I wasn't anticipating all the problems that would come with a new motion system, but it should look good in a few years. On a bright side, the colors seem to pop this year. HDR was washed out last year, the colors were bad.
