When EA announced they were not renewing their exclusive license with AS Roma, it was only a matter of time before we heard an official announcement from Konami.
Today, Konami announced their long-term exclusive partnership with AS Roma and posted a new eFootball PES 2021 trailer featuring the team in action. The AS Roma team name, crest and official kits will be fully exclusive to the eFootball PES series.
The long-time home of AS Roma, Stadio Olimpico, will also be included in eFootball PES 2021. Konami and AS Roma intend to take full advantage of their new partnership, promoting Roman football to a global audience through a variety of initiatives, including future involvement in esports projects.
eFootball PES 2021 releases on September 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam). The Standard Edition will be $29.99.
Club Editions for FC Barcelona, FC Bayern Munchen, Juventus, Manchester United and Arsenal will cost $34.99. Each Club Edition comes with the club’s full squad (players and manager) as well as several club-themed bonuses, including an Iconic Moment Series player, a digital kit and more.
Users that currently own eFootball PES 2020 will get a 20% discount.
Konami revealed the official cover for eFootball PES 2021 Season Update earlier this week, featuring Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Alphonso Davies.
If you played myClub mode in either PES 2020 or PES 2020 LITE, you will be eligible to receive the Veterans Bonus when you purchase eFootball PES 2021 Season Update.
