eSports Boxing Club Trailer - Currently in Alpha, But it Looks Real Good So Far...

eSports Boxing Club is a realistic boxing game made from the ground-up with the professional boxing community. Today, the team released their latest trailer, showing off some of the movement from the recent alpha build.

In ESBC, you will rise through the Amateur system, going through the professional ranks to win the coveted Lonsdale Belt, then going onto Continental and World titles featuring officially licensed governing bodies.

Not only will you be leveling up your fighter through winning fights, you will also have to hire your own staff – Trainer, Cut-man, Nutritionist and Promoter. There are also real-life boxing gyms in ESBC, each with their own fight styles and traits.

For more details and videos, check out our eSports Boxing Club page, along with the official page of the game.

  1. Yes looks amazing!
Unfortunately my computer cannot handle this I think but really looking forward to the console version and raw gameplay from the pc version!
Still a lot of questions regarding this game but looks real promising.
Really hope the knockouts and downs look realistic and on the same level as the animations we saw in the trailer

Would be delighted if this ends up being as good as it looks like it could be.

This game flew over my radar for a while but man for an indie developer is looking really good. Give them some time to build upon this and this could be special. The movement looks clean
I agree, the footwork looks good. Punches can use some tweaking but they can refine this stuff.
The thing with videogames and movies is you have to 'sell' the movement more and use some degree of exaggeration. So while the punch might look slow to some, you could make it feel faster by adding more body movement and subtle things like the head moving in a way almost to will the punch foward to sell more weight distribution and so on...almost like 'coiling'. From what I can tell the impacts are looking good though
That foot planting really does look promising. Agree with those who have said the punching looks off. What I saw here was maybe a little slow for my liking. I've had cautious optimism when it comes to seeing a decent boxing game any time soon, but this has me somewhat excited. Love that it's coming to PC. Looking forward to playing and giving some feedback!
I love the feints and pulled punches. Love the movement. Day 1 for me. This is alpha. Compare this with the Art of Boxing and it's no comparison. Customizable career mode??? Tell me more!

Yeah, I think we found a winner in this one...really impressed so far.

We have to tune in for this
I think the most important thing here is its still an alpha and the movement already looks amazing. They have tons of time to fix the punching animations. Itd be good to support these guys because its our best chance at a decent boxing game.
I am very excited about ESBC based on what I've read and what I'm seeing in this video. The punches look a bit weird, but the movement is solid.
If they've gotten movement to the point it's at now, I feel like they can get the animations cleaned up. There's a ton of potential here. It's nice to be excited about a boxing game on the horizon.

They came out and said the punches were all placeholders. Each weight division has Mo-Capped punches that will go into the actual game.

Any idea when this early access will release and/or when we might get more gameplay footage?

Yea that’s cool. I don’t have PC so I’m really just excited to see some match’s play out.
The game looks much much better than I expected. If the game can implement a good control scheme, have the same level of quality to the punching animations that they’ve achieved with the movement, then this is a surprising gem.
Also, I have a ps5, would I be able to play the ps4 version on that? Similar to playing EA UFC on my ps5 now .

It should be. Most PS4 games coming out support cross play

I’m sure the controller scheme will be fine for a boxing game , it won’t be on keyboard it’s strictly controllers even on pc. Yeah also it’s being created with all next generation consoles in mind to, so expect a fully optimized next gen boxing game when this drops late next year for consoles

Early Access that was supposed to occur at end of this month has been delayed.
They gained some funding and went from 4 developers to 13 so hopefully this just means it’s going to be that much better.
