Performing a Finisher in WWE 2K25 follows a similar formula to previous installments of 2K Games’ grappling game. Before you hoist the opponent onto your shoulders or ascend to the top rope, make sure the Momentum Meter is full and you’ve executed a Signature Move.

Then, you’ll see a prompt allowing you to perform a standard Finisher. For PlayStation players, press R2 and X, and for Xbox, press RT and A. Depending on the moveset of the wrestler you’re playing as, you may have to move the opponent into a specific part of the ring for the Finisher.

Immediately after performing a Finisher, pin them for a chance to secure the victory! In most cases, a standard Finisher is enough to put them away, but the stronger opponents have a higher chance of kicking out which is where a Super Finisher comes into play.

For a Super Finisher in WWE 2K25, it also depends on which member of the huge roster you’re using inside the squared circle. The prompt won’t appear until all three Finisher slots are filled. Deal as much damage as possible to fill the Meter as fast as possible.

To execute a WWE 2K25 Super Finisher, press the same button combination as a standard Finisher when prompted. This will trigger an overpowered version of the wrestler’s iconic move and allow you to score the win.
