Brazilian soccer legend Pelé is turning 80 on October 23 and this weekend Rocket League, which is free to play on all platforms, is celebrating with Pelé themed items. On October 17 and 18, Pelé Wheels and a Pelé Octane Decal will be available for purchase in the Item Shop. A Pelé Player Banner will also be available for free in the Item Shop.

In addition to the items, Psyonix is celebrating Pelé’s birthday with the #TopPeléChallenge competition for the Rocket League community. Here’s how it works:
- Record a clip of your spectacular play
- Submit it using the hashtag #TopPeléChallenge on Twitter, Reddit, or Facebook
- Thew will choose ten of the Top Pelés the community sends
- Tune in to see the community’s best plays during the Top Pelé segment on the official Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) X South American Regional Major broadcast on October 23
