Pro Riders to Compete in MotoGP Virtual Race on Sunday, March 29

With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, many athletes from their actual sports, are competing in their virtual space. Today, Milestone, the developers of the MotoGP racing video game franchise, announced they will host a MotoGP Virtual Race on Sunday, March 29, at 11:00 AM ET.

Some of the sport’s biggest names, including Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT), Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) and reigning Champion Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), will be competing online, playing the official MotoGP video game.

The entire event will feature 6 laps around Autodromo del Mugello, including a 5 minute qualifying time attack, to determine the grid. Viewers can tune in at motogp.com, esport.motogp.com and selected TV broadcasts, as well as across social media platforms.
