NHL 21 Season Opening Roster Update Arrives Later This Week

Like usually with black silhouettes and no Player Portraits and created Player faces which looking far from real Players ? But the hope dies at last. I think all Franchise Dynasty Players have a good Roster with many self created missing Players so far.

Going to experiment further with my gameplay sliders in my current franchise before the release of the opening day rosters and start a new franchise when it’s released.

Will they add khl players as well

They will most likely add them if they’ve at least played in 1 game this season.

Yeah like someone else said, they'll have blank portraits with generic faces and no audio.

really need the AHL to start so I can begin my franchise....not so much for the AHL guys but need them to add Zegras, Turcotte etc

If you want, you can go to YouTube and there is caps for both of them, could hold you over till ahl rosters made.

I noticed the rookies are in the teams systems (Lefrenierre for example) but not on the NHL lineup. When starting a franchise, will the cpu automatically put guys like Lafrenniere onto the starting lineup or will they stay in the system? Just curious if its worth waiting for.

NYR always add Lafrenniere to their roster. I have seen that when AI control the Rangers.

i hope they add True goalie gear to the game.

sadly knowing how electronic Arts treats the nhl title by now but they won't ... and ea sports nhl is not in the game ....:frown::frown::frown:

The problem is--for me--is that as a Season takes so long to play--that you find the year has almost passed you by, as your waiting for the updates.
I wish there was a way that I could edit all the rosters (I spend an age lowering player attributes/tinkering)---then when the Roster Update lands (with Player Portraits for the likes of Kaprizov etc) I can just add the "new" players in, rather than actually having to start the entire Roster editing again.
Another thing that I find incredibly annoying is that I cant EDIT player attributes once I start my off line season.
Players who thrive in the year (rookie surprises) but were not expected too, (so are ranked say in the 70s when you start) should be "editable" to reflect their "new" status.....What are they scared of, that off line users may "cheat" themselves in editing in their own game?.....lol.....Im 50 years old...let me do it if i want! lol
And.....for the love of Jagr.....can we PLEASE have the ability to Edit the EAs Players appearance's. I realize that there's a LOT of players, and they cant check which players have blonde hair, so at least let the user have the chance to "correct" them (which you could years ago)

That was posted last night so it should be today...

Roster update is live on Xbox. Dated  1/20/21.  It definitely wasn’t there yesterday. Haven’t looked at the roster yet so I can’t comment on accuracy.
