With the official NHL season underway, EA Sports and the NHL 21 team plan to release their season opening roster update later this week. The NHLPA agreement requires a rookie to play a regular season game, before they can be added to the official NHL 21 roster. To get the most rookies into the game as possible, the team is taking a few extra days to get them in.
