NBA Live 19
NBA Live 19 Patch 1.16 Available, Adds Earned Edition Uniforms and More - Patch Notes Here
NBA Live 19 game update 1.16 has arrived, featuring a few general updates, gameplay tuning, Earned Edition uniforms and more. Check out the patch notes and screenshots below.
General Updates
- 3v3 Score to Win set to 15 Points
- Users with a Level 100 Created Player will now be able to start their second Created Player at Level 50
- Earned Edition Jerseys added to 5v5 Game Modes
Gameplay:
- Tuned momentum jump shots to still have Green releases available to players who should be able to shoot at higher percentages while moving forward or laterally in either direction. Green releases will not be available if these players are sprinting.
- Tuned ball carrier fatigue to drain slower when a player is out of short term stamina and faster when short term stamina is full. This will help balance the rate that fatigue is applied and not over-penalizing a player who is already drained.
- Tuned variables that impact shot percentages for shots around the rim. Inside Shots and Layups will now better-factor openness vs. being contested. More open shots by players capable of finishing will go in and shots that should have been impacted by defense will result in misses.
Audio:
- New Speech: Commentary reactions to Ankle breakers to add some additional excitement to NBA / WNBA broadcast.
- Banter logic improvements (e.g., Jimmy Butler no longer being referenced as though he’s still on the Timberwolves)
Presentation:
- Bug fixes for cameras where the players would be off-screen during an inbound after a violation.
- Bug fixes for Crowd not reacting appropriately at the end of timed pro-am games.
Court Battles
Restructured Reward Tiers in Court Battles for owned courts and added a 4th Tier.
- Tier 1: Own 2 Courts
- Tier 2: Reduced from Owning 5 Courts to 4 Courts
- Tier 3: Reduced from Owning 10 Courts to 7 Courts
- Tier 4: Own 12 Courts
Added all Court Rules to The One Store to purchase for 100 RP Each.
Roster Updates
This is getting tiring. I'm pretty close to shelving the game until they finish patching this thing permanently. Does the NBA Live team believe in incremental patches?
Fixed sock colors in franchise which is very nice.
Weird that the Earned uniforms have no socks on any players at all.
What does the level 100 and then second at level 50 mean exactly?

First of all. What?! No socks at all?
Secondly. Poor Jordan Clarkson is wearing an undershirt AND two arm sleeves. Double

Interestingly, he is not wearing an undershirt when playing with the Earned jersey.
Bad News:
You see too many players doing floaters now. Even PF's and Centers. AI playcalling is still terrible. They still missing a lot of players from the league. Starting lineups are still wrong for a lot of teams. Bump to force the ball handler to pick up their dribble is still there. CPU still guards everyone super tight, which is a shame because you spin on them and they get left in the dust. Player ratings are still insanely over inflated.

There was a recent roster update, but they only made ratings go up or down for players. They didn't fix the starting line ups, rotations or add the dozens of missing NBA players. There is no roster sharing.

You spin on them and they get left in the dust? There is a way to consistently drive on this game? How do you pull this off?

Thank freaking God!!! Not to sound impatient, but I've waited a while for this. The messed up socks were an eye sore. Better late than never, so props!

Now all we wanna see is that fourth big and cmon ea give us 1v1 make it take it. I remember playing that stuff online in older lives that didn't have team play. You'd think it's about stick skills but it's really about psychological domination.
The only downside is splitting people from 5s but the kinda 1v1 kids, we don't want them in 5s anyway. Hah. Even tho I'd Def spend some off times crushing people in 1v1. No picks lesse u get by me haha

I played a game earlier and at least had about 6-7...not even an exaggeration
This is true and it needs to be fixed. In the interim I have lowered the shooting foul slider to 1 or 0 and its more manageable wth this adjustment.

Its one of the things I like about the game. It keeps everyone from contesting every jumper extremely tight.
Ok, but is there a roster vault, or are we just counting on roster updates from EA?

I was on twitter and the live devs told me the best plac e to leave feedback is the r e d d i t forums.
There is roster editing. So you can edit the ratings, trades, player rotations and starting line ups yourself. That is what I suggest every one do because 99% of the roster have inaccurate ratings, starting line ups and player rotations.
Which is a shame because reddit forums is just as messy as EA own forums. I browse both of those things and the masses only seem to post about court challenges and live run. Or they post about shoes, socks and other clothing items. Anything about actual game play get buried pretty fast and don't gain any traction at all.
