NBA Live 19 Introduces The One Court - Allowing Fans to Create and Customize Their Own Courts
NBA Live 19 has introduced One Court, offering fans the ability to create and customize their own court, to play in drills, shoot arounds or scrimmages. You can also use your One Court to host a private run online with your friends.
There are plenty of options to choose from, including full court graphics, floor paint (out of bounds lines, baselines, sidelines) customizing equipment (basket, stanchion pad, etc.), different balls to play with (both NBA and WNBA) and more. Fans can also unlock items, as they keep playing the game.
Unfortunately, fans will not be able to upload custom images this year, but it’s something they are considering for the future.
You can’t upload images, a content moderation system would’ve taken a lot of effort, might be something we consider in the future though

Check out some of the court creations from some of the content creators/EA Game Changers below and make sure to read the blog for more details.
I wonder what freedom we have in terms of uploading images for the court. It'd be awesome to upload custom images and use them for the full size court or maybe multiple smaller images

From the vlog they don't mention anything about custom logos but I guess we'll see. The customization looks really cool though.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but we won't be allow to upload any images, but there will be plenty to choose from.
I guess they worry about copyrighted pics being uploaded which makes sense. Personally, I'm good at drawing and was hoping that I'd get to make one of my basketball drawings the court like how they did with Embiid. Now that would be epic!
This is a great feature for the one players, however what interests me is the fact that they will be able to play drills, shootaround, or scrimmages. These are elements that's heavily needed in franchise mode. I'm wonder if these things have made there way into franchise mode as well similar to what was in Live 09-10. At these point I would like to hear news about the NBA portion of the game along with some blogs or videos about general gameplay improvements on both sides of the ball that they've made this year from last year. A control layout would be nice as well. I guess those screens of the NBA players was just a distraction to take away from the fact we may not be getting any news or details of the game that's NBA related!!

I'm also happy to hear that you can use it for shootaround. Being able to practice on team courts is something I've missed since Live 09.

Understood and point well made....however I’m talking about for people who are not exactly looking to post inappropriate things....it would be a great feature. #indeed
Guessing late this week or next week after the introduce another mode the court battle mode; will be more bout the NBA portion. The only news I know for sure left is the new commentary team with Jay Williams. An Franchise which I'm still not optimistic was a focus for them once again I hope I'm wrong.
I would hope so, but I don't think so I believe court battles is just another pvp game mode for the one maybe either 1v1 or 5v5 pro-am with rules and regulations. According to one of the devs this feature was the worst kept secret of Live 19. Which leads me to believe they have nothing more really to announce. They've already showed the best portion of their game, and just from what we seen promotion wise and from shacknews the game doesn't have a lot to offer outside of the one. At this point franchise mode is pretty much non-existent.
Seems like a decent amount of carry over too. Like the progression system in the One is identical to live 18 with skill points and only certain skills that you upgrade one point at a time. I enjoyed that system but still it's a carry over.. Nothing new

Hopefully we can. LUT would be a perfect mode to use a custom court since it is literally your custom team. Logically it makes more sense for it to be in that mode, more so than it being in The One mode
NBA live pushes The One mode so hard lol
It’s your court and you call the shots. Design a court that reflects your unique style, then make your rules known. Only three pointers? Sure. Dunks worth five points? You got it. Play your way in NBA LIVE 19 and make your court stand out.
Dang! I’ll make dunks 1 point, mid range -2 (penalty) and 3 point range 2 points!

NBA Live, I want to Live NBA... Why not to call this game The One directly?

The horse is dead. We get it, you guys want franchise information lol.
No sleight to you, but every time some new feature gets released, guys are complaining. It's getting old man lol.

Just think how incredible that game would be if they focused all of their energy on just street ball. Custom courts, custom players. Custom world tours. It's undeniable that it would be a fun game and a perfect compliment to 2k, which would be where those who want an NBA experience would go.
That being said, I enjoy playing NBA games in NBA live but it just isn't their focus at all so that led me to come up with that idea of an all street ball game. They can call it "The One 19" lol

I'm not saying that they're not supposed to be releasing that lol. And to be honest, the meat and potatoes of the NBA game includes a Career mode nowadays.
I agree that they need to release some Franchise stuff (since that's the main complaint here) but we've got a thread for that.
The one isn’t really getting me pumped for the game unfortunately . I’m still interested though
I agree with you, I think they should just go back to making street games, and stop lingering on the notion they're making a true NBA game. But I understand what they're trying to do.
