  1. Wow this is very tempting. Don't know how much I'll actually play between 2k and the other games I'm invested in but for just under $10 I don't think it matters.
It's less than $10... I think it's a no brainer, just go and buy and download it.
If you don't like the NBA or WNBA part of the game, just go and play online street games, it's worth that money.
So I’m in Walmart and online the game is $19.99 but in store it’s $29.99. So I show clerk my phone and say if I pay on here can I pick it up in store for online price... he told me ..I wouldn’t pay for it on there because he don’t know when Site to Store pickup would come get it and take it to the pick up location... being in a hurry I just paid the darn $29.99 .. and now it’s $9.89 PS Store ... Welll I be @#$&
I purchased this game for $29 a month ago and I am pleasantly surprised. 2k may be the better overall game but I like having a choice and NBA Live offers a different experience. 2k is consistent but very VC driven and I couldnt tell much of a difference from 2k17. I dont care about Virtual Currency, MyGM, the park mode, or playing online with others. Rather I want to throw down some dunks with LeBron on my 4K tv and have fun doing so in a game that utilizes the ESPN broadcast license in a realistic fashion.
If you are a vet of NBA Live from Ps1 & ps2 era you may enjoy this throwback! Show support to EA to let them know NBA Live has a pulse and to keep the 2k developers on their toes to not go stagnant. It is a no brainer at this price and a solid single player experience that reminds me of "pick up and go" basketball from the ps2 era.

Walmart matches their online prices in store. You could have gotten a price match. I guess you could take it back and say it doesn't work and get a refund.

It's worth it. I just got it. I checked a few days ago but it was only for PS Plus subs then so I passed. I'm more of an Xbox guy and loathe online play, so I have no need for PS Plus. I probably wont play Live much but the cheapskate in me just can't let a deal pass.
Just bought it. Game is a blast and feels more like basketball . Presentation is nice. Graphics look good on PS4 pro. The lighting looks great. Paint scoring seems too easy though and the dribbling and basic player movement still looks wonky. But they have something nice here. The drive game is superb . I really think Live is underrated in a lot of areas . Doesn’t feel like a chore to play. Can pick up and play . Yet there are some advanced moves . On ball defense might be the best in the business.

While LeBron is obviously a beast, I have to say I've never had as much fun playing with player in any basketball game as I do with Joel Embiid in Live 18. It's the same feeling, as Embiid just dominates and the game is just flat out fun to play.
I got to say, I wasn't going to support EA for even $10 after hearing how they left out editing/create a player feature then putting it in after backlash, but i'm pleasantly surprised! This game is actually legit. I'm talking about Franchise mode. I'm having more fun than I had with NBA 2k18.
I've been a life long NBA 2k18 player, but something about this vs NBA Live 18 is night and day, but I can't tell what is night and what is day exactly. I'm thinking it's the controls or perhaps the technicality in the game? NBA Live 18 seems more like a pick me up and NBA 2k18 seems more for the player that want to be fully immersed.
Don't get me wrong, you will be immersed with NBA live 18, just not as much as NBA 2k18. It just seems more easier to play and for some reason, a lot more fun!
So glad I spent the $10 bucks on it :y1:

Well, I have learned to not buy another live game when it first comes out lol.
I had to learn that lesson as well. It's paid off on the past two releases. It'll be the same for '19 as well.

I was ready to buy some VC so MyPlayer could be decent. Bought this instead and traded in 2K. Much more fun to pick up and play. More people online than I expected also... Matching for Pro-Am is almost instant

Good decision. A good change of pace, and if your main game mode is my career/the one it's a lot easier to level and less lag online imo
I went and bought it for that price. I gotta say though, I'm enjoying it. It has its own feel to it and there's nothing wrong with it. EA has a foundation of which they can build upon.
Not overly complicated and easy to pick up and play. Well worth the ten bucks for sure! I know they will end up messing things up once they get a following but I will enjoy 18 for as long as possible.
I had no intention of buying Live or Madden, but these darn holiday sales finally got the best of me and I ended up buying both. :34: My intestinal fortitude isn't what it used to be. lol.
I had to double-take at the offer. Bought it, telling myself for 10 bucks I don't care what blemishes it has, I'll play it since my basketball interest window is tiny. I have to say, it is an enjoyable game and well done. What a steal!
Anyone with both systems pick up both copies for each system? Would like a comparison between the XBOX Version and the Ps4 version if possible. I have the XBOX X version and loving it. My friends are all on the ps4 though. Tempted to get it just to meetup with them
Man this is a real kick in the teeth when you purchase this game for $90+ (living in Canada) and to see it drop to $10....man if you don't have it I guess its a good look for you, but sheesh....well I guess I know what I'll be doing with Live'19 when it launches...WAITING!!:splat:

After Live 14 I've waited to purchase until Black Friday. I've paid a grand total of $40 for the past three versions of the game. I'll always wait.

I have both versions not much difference. For the price no reason not to have it.
