NBA Live 18
NBA Live 18 Cover Athlete is James Harden, Pre-Order For $39.99, Releases September 15
EA Sports has just announced James Harden as the NBA Live 18 cover athlete. Check out the trailer and the official cover art below. If you pre-order, you can purchase the game for $39.99. NBA Live 18 is scheduled to release on September 15.

It's all PR. What's he going to say "I didn't know Live still existed until EA approached me."
Looking forward to checking out the demo tomorrow. Does anyone know if the demo is strictly "The One" content or is there going to be an option to play as NBA teams, like a finals rematch?
It is a little weird that there still isn't an official date yet, unless I missed it. You would think it would be no later than September 20th. Maybe they have a surprise early release. Any later than the 20th, 2k18's date, would be dangerous for sales.
Available for pre-order at GameStop. Only 40 doll hairs. Sept 15th confirmed.

There's no chance I'm pre-ordering Live after what has happened to the franchise the past few years.*
It's too bad, I was interested in the game at $40.
Gamestop is live, though. $39.99 for both digital and physical.
I imagine all of it will be up tomorrow morning once the demo actually releases ...

Put 5 bucks on it now and if you don't want it at launch, cancel and get your money back. "Joke Move".....please

So you are interested in the game at $40 dollars, but you aren't buying it now because it turns to $60 at release date? I'm not trying to be a jerk, but you will be playing the demo which is pretty accurate to the full game. I don't see how you lose out by pre-ordering the game. You can easily sell the game for full value or $40 easily during the 1st week.

did you even spend a single second with the demo yet
It says "Currently Unavailable" for the physical copy, but they only have the Xbox One digital code to pre-order

It literally shows the release date in the title of the Thread.
Those retailers had to say preorders are how we moving with this game. No way we buying hundreds of thousands copies like we did with 16
Alternatively, live on the east coast of Australia :59::59:
The original article just indicated Harden was the cover athlete. The price and date was updated after.

I like what I've seen with the demo. The more and more I play it the better it gets. I tried Live 15/16 but couldn't stand them, the animations just weren't there to draw you into the game and believe it was an actually NBA game. What I've seen so far with Live 18 in terms of the animations I'm really impressed with the progress they have made.
