NBA 2K22 Draft Class - Full 150 Player 2022 NBA Draft From jcblayze

The NBA season continues to be in a weird spot right now with the continued spread of the omicron variant. This health issue is making NBA games feel bizarre because you might not know half the players on the rosters on any given night. That said, in the NBA 2K22 arena, we’re in a spot now where people start to look around more for ways to keep franchises fresh. We previously highlighted the Attention to Detail roster, which we consider the “best” way to freshen up things in your MyNBA in a major way (at least on consoles). However, if you’re just looking for a solid NBA 2K22 custom draft class, jcblayze just released his first full class (on PS5) that attempts to mimic the upcoming 2022 NBA Draft.

Information

This is not new territory for jcblayze, and this is not the first time we’ve highlighted his work. He puts out consistently solid content across multiple games, and he’s always kind enough to share his work here on the forums. I’ll let him detail what’s in the draft class here on PS5:

I feel that this is my best class yet. Instead of stressing and rushing to get one out before the season started, I took my time, did a ton of research and settled on prospects who coincide with my mock drafts and current January rankings. I really hope you guys check these out and like them. I truly feel that they are the best classes available.

Here is what you will find in this class.

  • All 150 players are real. Faces and equipment are real. From Jabari Smith to Daryl Morsell. Every player looks like their real life counterpart (to the best of my ability and NBA2K’s limited CAP features).
  • A good mix of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, Ignite/OT Elite, foreign players. Similar number of early entrants to previous seasons.
  • I limit foreign guys to players who have a pretty good chance of being drafted. That way you won’t have a bunch of foreign young free agents, since that just does not happen.
  • You will really have to scout because there are a lot of guys with draftable ratings. This goes with how the NBA is these days, where up to 100 rookies see game action every year.

Below I have posted two videos. The first will have OVR spoilers. View at your own risk! The second does not have any ratings.

This took a couple hundred hours of work, and I fully researched this entire list. I did not go off of other websites.

Bottom Line

You can support jcblayze if you want at his Patreon (or at least by subbing to his YouTube channel). Beyond that, I don’t believe jcblayze has any plans at this time to bring the draft class to other platforms. It also seems to be up in the air whether or not more classes beyond 2022 will be in the mix.

Either way, as always we thank jcblayze for his work, and you can do the same in the thread on the forums.
