NASCAR Heat 5 December DLC Available Today - Includes 33 New Schemes

The NASCAR Heat 5 December DLC is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Steam. It includes 33 schemes from across the NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck series.

Unfortunately, this DLC is similar to how the Playoff Pack was released, last month. It will cost $9.99 on all platforms and is not part of the Season Pass or Gold Edition content. Let’s hope this trend doesn’t continue.

With that said, here’s the full list of schemes and some screenshots.

  1. I like this game but this really turns me off as well as the playoff pack.
These two paint job packs combined cost almost half the cost of the original game. Reminds me of the old horse armor dlc from years back.
I paid the extra cost to get the dlc packs and I get that was limited to a certain amount of content but a season pass should cover the season.
Sad cash grab. Hope zero people buy these two add on's.

Agreed. It's crazy what they do. I mean; it's awesome to have all the paint scheme options, but I'm sure you can spend near $200 or so on the game if you want them all. I bought it this year and requested a refund from MS once I saw it was a simple copy/paste job from last year.
Imagine if you but the schemes this year after buying them all last year too? I did last year, I enjoyed last year's game and played it alot so I got my money's worth, but no way I was falling for that again this year.
I later picked up the game again when it was dirt cheap on sale, but no way I'm paying them another dime this year. Every year it's become the same thing with this game. Lacking features, lacking graphics, lacking sounds, lacking presentations, no real upgrades, but they'll happily nickle and dime you all year long on paint schemes. Sad really, because the game play, AI, inclusion of all 3 major series and the dirt series gives it alot of promise and potential. Hopefully they take advantage of that potential and the new consoles and bring this series to where it needs to be; I won't hold my breath though.
I know it's off-topic, but now that I have a PS5, I hope to goodness they move on to a new next-gen appropriate engine for the game. Unreal Engine 5 just looks so dang incredible and oozing with potential that I long to see a NASCAR game take advantage.
