Stephanie McMahon has been announced as the first inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026. The announcement was made during the WWE Wrestlepalooza broadcast on Saturday.
The Undertaker made a surprise appearance, riding down on a motorbike in classic ‘American Badass’ style that popped the fans. He then approached McMahon, who was sitting at ringside, with the rest of the fans. The WWE legend brought up old times from their longtime working relationship and friendship over the years.
At the end, The Undertaker asked McMahon three iconic words from the iconic duo of D-X, “Are you ready?” He then finally surprised the Chief Brand Officer with the news that she’s the first inductee in next year’s WWE Hall of Fame.

The Undertaker’s surprise announcement had everyone cheering for Stephanie McMahon. The former SmackDown General Manager was overwhelmed with emotion from the moment. The support and cheers from the fans clearly meant a lot to her as she even teared up.
You could also tell from the noise of the Indianapolis crowd that the lead induction meant a great deal to the fans as well. McMahon has served a lot of time in the company in several roles. She’s competed as an in-ring talent, acted in an authority role on-screen and managed backstage as well.
McMahon had even been co-CEO at one point after her father, Vince McMahon, retired in 2022. However, she left the role in 2023 to focus on her family. She now enjoys her space on the What’s Your Story? podcast as she interviews several big names within the company.

Many people were happy to see Stephanie McMahon get her flowers with the WWE Hall of Fame induction. While some weren’t overly impressed with all of WWE’s Wrestlepalooza, they called this moment the best thing of the night.
Many fans were pleased to see McMahon finally get the nod. A lot of them voiced their support, saying that the induction was long overdue.
We’re happy to see a legend of the sport getting honored like this. We’re sure that all of her husband, Triple H, had this surprise ready for her to celebrate her legacy. The moment got a huge pop from the crowd at Wrestlepalooza. It also certainly stood out from a show that was just okay.
