  1. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting a long time. That's only reason why i am still having Xbox one console. Thank you so much EA!!

Is it worth the 20 dollars? Didn’t get a chance to play it on last gen.

Worth every penny if you're a fan of the sweet science that is. I kept my 360 just to play FNC and UD3. They were my two favorite games of all time on 360.

So do we all need to move to a different forum now that we'll be playing FNC instead?

I love the game and it will get a bump online because of FNC but there are exploits in that game too.
    aholbert32
If they did that I could get rid of my 360.
Literally THE only reason I kept mine. Wife says I have too many consoles hooked up to our living room tv so I'm stuck playing the 360 on the bedroom tv,hard to get into games without sitting in my leather recliner on the 75" 4K TV so I dont play it much

I'd buy it full price again. Now my question is.... Are there any graphics upgrades and can i play it online?
I was so excited when I saw this tweet earlier today. Is the Fighter Share still working or is that long gone?

bc games tend to run smoother on the one. i hear there is a noticable difference with some games on the X but i haven’t seen any personally. as for online as long as the servers are still up you can for sure.

Dude I can only imagine how great this game would look on current gen. It looks amazing on last gen.
The Xbox servers and fighter share was still up when I checked a couple months ago. The Xbox guys still uploading fighters are pretty awesome. Makes FNC relevant 7 years later. FNC campaign is by far the goat.

Expect a resolution bump when playing Xbox 360 titles on a Xbox One X.
Most of the hard work was done getting these games to run on incompatible hardware in the form of the Xbox One, so what does the Xbox One X enhancement add? Microsoft describes it as "the very best version of the game possible with the existing assets." Each game will run at a higher resolution and 9x the pixel count along with increased texture detail and anti-aliasing.
The enhancements can be turned off by pressing the "View" and "Menu" buttons to bring up the Xbox 360 guide. Once there, navigate to "Settings" and select "Xbox One X Settings." Two options will be presented: Graphics and Performance. Graphics enables full enhancement and will be turned on by default. Choosing Performance will see the game graphics return to how you'd see them on an Xbox One S and may allow a game to run more smoothly.

Older article for that quote, but the approach should be the same.
I'm more interested in the current playerbase.

Online is up, there is like 365 people online, I found two matches pretty easily. I'm not sure if there is a graphical update, if there is, it's not significant. Still had a lot of fun though, boxing share also seems to be working somewhat, you can download the recent, and top rated fighters, but the search function doesn't seem to work.

that’s only for xbox one X enhanced games. there is a list of every game that is currently enhanced if you google it. games will still look better on the X by default, but to take advantage of those options in that post it has to be an xbox one enhanced game. bc compatible games have been getting updates for that so i wouldn’t be surprised if we get one for fnc.

This is a good and bad thing at the same time. It's good we get to show how badly fans want a boxing videogame but the bad is not everyone has a XBOX ONE! They always pamper Microsoft first.

Same. That reminds me, I always hated how I couldn't download young George Foreman after release. He was perfect for taking out Tyson users.
Great news. I always thought FNC was a step down from 4 but it still is a good game. It's a real shame we haven't gotten a boxing game on the new generation consoles.

This has nothing to do with anyone pampering Microsoft. Microsoft has invested in backwards compatibility, Sony has not.

Blows my mind that in this day and age with info for anything and everything a simple click away that such ignorance still exists.
This not "pampering Microsoft first". Perhaps if Sony didn't crap on EA Access and turn their noses up to it and perhaps if Sony invested in backwards compatibility, this would be on PS4 today.

I wonder how hard would it be,cause since they don't have actual players in it they wouldn't have to worry about licenses besides the teams right?
Before I purchase this, I just wen online on x1, and it is up there to download for 20 bux. M question is though, does online work? Can you download created fighters?
There are also 2 add-ons and one of them says legend pack and the other I online pass, since you can't purchase those is it included into the game?

    Thank you in advance.
I have an Xbox One (not S or X) and I can say for sure the game looks much more crisp.
I even went back and forth with my 360 version to make sure it wasn’t placebo.
I fought Cotto vs Judah at Cowboy Stadium. Everything popped off the screen.
I really wished they would've released it before I played UFC 3. All I play is "Stand and Bang". The stand up is so satisfying for me in the game. It's been filling the Fight Night void.
As great as it was when it came out, I don't expect it to feel and play as good as it used to.

Off topic a bit... I was playing on the Xbox 1 and my opponent sent me a message. Couldn't find it though... Got the pop-up on the bottom of the screen but never showed up in my messages... Went and turned on my 360 and the message was on that system.. Is that typical when playing backwards compatible games? The message he sent was also not on the Xbox app nor the Xbox website, only on the 360...
Just downloaded Mayweather, Conor, GGG, Canelo. Just realized I need to get Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Deontay Wilder. Guys add me for some fights, my Live name is my name here.
    Oh for Christs sake.
Even Microsoft are sick of waiting for a remaster.
Looks like ill just buy a 500 dollar Xbox instead of giving EA some $ for a remaster. Whatever, least I don't have to buy the game again (dat 360 copy is still pristine, too bad my controller isn't)
You'd think they'd get the hint when the latest UFC game has roughly the same amount of players online as a 7 year old boxing game does..

If the game has a dynamic resolution it'll run in up to 4K on XB1X, 900-1080P on S, 720 on 1.
If you Xbox owners are lucky, they buffed it to 60fps, and if they did, I'm buying an Xbox and forever and ever hating EA for making me do so (and Sony)
I was a little rusty, but the game still rewards you for being patient and taking your time. There is the occasional opponent that just knows how to exploit the weak stamina settings, but for the most part, the game is still fun to play.
I am so glad to see this on the XB1. Never thought it would happen.

I bet ANY money that the headmovement argument is going to EXPLODE again as a whole bunch of people are introduced to FNC's far superior analog strike tracking and 360* headmovement.
Hell, I'd bet a PS4 release on it.

After the standup in UFC 3 it feels pretty ordinary and robotic so i don't think i could play it again even though i used to think it was great. Also the poor roster is a put off.

I'm pretty sure the head movement is way better and more useful in Fight Night. And having actually technically sound punching animations is a plus too.

I would say it runs smoother more than it looks sharper. It does look great, but I quickly noticed how fast the button input was, especially in the menus. But it looks great and runs very nice.

That has zero to do with the fact Sony doesn't offer backwards compatibility and Microsoft does. This would be on PS4 if Sony would stop trying to nickle and dime everyone with PSNow and just offer a BC solution like Microsoft did.

At last!! an actual sports game! Now if we can get NCAA 14 or xbox original games like map 2005 and nfl2k5, we will really be in business!

You probably won't ever see BC of a college sports game due to the Ed O'Bannon lawsuit against the NCAA.

Don’t understand why this game is $20 digital being that it’s an old game.

Supply and demand. I expect this to head to The Vault at some point, but I don't blame them for grabbing $20 a pop from folks that anxious to play today.
You can also try to find the game used, and use the disc, whiny should be cheaper.
I already owned it digitally, so it was just there. I may like watching MMA more these days, but boxing makes for a much better gaming experience than MMA games.
Is game a bit smoother during gameplay?
Do you think EA renewed licenses with these fighters in order to rerelease this? If so, that would be a good sign EA is looking into making a new boxing game.

I hate to say it but I have to agree to some degree as far as boxing being a better gaming experience. It's much easier to translate the sport of boxing to a game than it is with MMA because there are so many more variables. Even as great as FNC is,there's still a ton of room for improvement. Just think of cramming most of what boxing is into a game plus kicks, takedowns, submissions, grappling, various styles of clinches, several different forms of martial arts,a roster about 4 times the size of boxing, etc. That's the challenge of trying to make an MMA game. I think FNC is a closer translation to boxing than any MMA game could ever wish they could replicate the sport of MMA.

If I could change one thing in history, it would be Tyus Edney's layup vs Mizzou in the 95 Tourney bouncing off the rim.
As a PS4 owner this makes me insanely jealous but I'm really happy for y'all Xbox owners! I keep my PS3 for a lot of games but FNC is one that I return to every year no matter what.
It's far from perfect but it's the best boxing game we've got especially on GOAT difficulty and with some minor slider adjustments.
This announcement was my cue to start another career mode and add to the already ridiculous number of hours I've played since it launched.

Makes no sense as you can still buy any of the NCAA games in stores like Gamestop or online so why not just make it BC? The lawsuit is literally one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of,blows my mind how anyone can think they used player likenesses. They used generic faces, nobodys real name, I mean if they copied the players it was as loosely as possible. Is it because they gave us the ability to go in and add their real names and adjust attributes? I remember distinctly that in Ken Griffey Jr Baseball on the SNES you could do the same thing but nobody got sued.

So glad Fight Night Champion got added to the library. Online has life again and will grow the more people buy this game who have never played it before.

Man they should make one regardless. There needs to be more variety in combat sports games and i'm saying this as more of an mma fan. The majority of their sales come from casual players and I can almost guarantee a boxing game would sit more well among the casuals just cuz of the fact that it's straight striking. They are more focused on the UFC now since it's become more popular in recent yrs, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if a new fight night game got more sales than EA UFC games.

I agree. There is also so much more now that is being done with sports gaming that a boxing game would fit into. You could license legendary trainers and attire that could compliment the progress of the game. Building a boxer with a ultimate team style would be interesting.

One can only hope, cuz there is a heavy focus on UFC games now that mma has grown more in popularity and the same team that did the fight night games are working on them. Meaning they would have to get another team together to work on a fight night game. Really hope it could happen. I miss the days of having mma and boxing games to look forward to and i'm sure alot of ppl really miss the fight night games.
There are 2,400 people online right now playing Fight Night Champion. That’s a pretty good number.
UFC 3 right now has around 2,800 people. It’s funny to see how close online numbers are with both games.

Exactly. That's a great number for a 7 year old game, which means a good bit of ppl picked up the game. EA needs to know that a boxing game would attract way more players (casuals in particular) just cuz of the fact that its a boxing game...just punching and all you have to worry about is punching the other guy in the face. A buddy of mine who's been team sony since i've known him came over last night and we played FNC. He played FNR4, but he had never played FNC. He enjoyed the game so much, that this dude said he's going to buy an X1 just so he can get FNC. Like I said in my previous post, I wouldn't be surprised at all if a new fight night game sold better than the EA UFC games. They need to make a new one.

UFC 3 right now has around 2,800 people. It’s funny to see how close online numbers are with both games.
Yes, I was on last night and saw the same. I don't like to compare the two sports, but in EA's case, they clearly went with UFC over boxing, so there will be this debate on which should exist. I say they both can. EA's spending philosophy would dictate the possibility of that potentiality. I don't know that they believe developing the two would be beneficial for their profit.

Boxing translates so much better than MMA gameplay wise however not only is the gameplay better BUT the fact that the Legacy mode from 7yrs ago pisses all over UFC 3's is quite telling, these Ultimate Team modes have pretty much put a halt to progress in these career modes in various sports games.
I had 3 good fights last night. In all 3 i used Lara. I won a unanimous decision in the first fight. The second fight i knocked Cotto out and tye 3rd fight i ran into a dude using Sugar Ray Robinson. He just walked right through everything i tried to do. He knocked me out. Now i remember why i loved that game. I could have played all night but would have been no good at work today.

I hear you. I played a few last night and again was reminded of how tough online can be. If you get a guy that comes strong, it is very hard to get to the later rounds, but if you do you can count on their stamina being depleted enough to where you can win. Nothing like beating an over aggressive Tyson in the 8th because he is all but drained.

I took an L last night for that very reason. I was Shane Mosley fighting against Sugar Ray Leonard and the guy was just swarming me. He threw twice as many punches as me even though I doubled him up in power punches and counters. He never landed anything terribly powerful and I was blocking the majority of the combos. I was thinking I'd just wait him out while picking and choosing my shots early on. Eventually my guy was just hurt out of nowhere and going down twice in the 5th round.

I would say that is an unbalanced piece to this game. Guys don't really start to get taxed on stamina until around the 4th. But, they can deal so much damage before then. If you can make them miss, it is so rewarding in the later rounds. It is very difficult against seasoned, aggressive fighters.
I try and move around the ring, moving my feet more than shifting my body, because that takes stamina. I circle the ring and try and stay in the center. One of my favorite things to do is get a guy tired and then jab him in the later rounds. 7th, 8th and 9th rounds are when I really see things shifting to my advantage.

Tbh they probably only went with UFC cuz of their rise in popularity in recent yrs, while boxing had been on a bit of the decline. They would need to find another team to work on a FN game also, since the FN team is doing UFC now. But they are EA "sports" right? They should have both games. And I feel a boxing game would probably do better in sales than UFC games just cuz it's more accessible to the casual audience. I mean how are the number of players online for a 7 yr old FN game even close to UFC's? That means ppl are going out and picking up the game.

I think EA has their eyes on these things. It’s def a good sign. I think getting the license for current and past fighters is such a pain in the arse as opposed to just having to sign UFC and getting total control. UFC games in my opinion just don’t translate as well..way too much going on. Fingers crossed

I think boxing is in a good place to make a comeback. I think ESPN boxing is helping boost the popularity because they are showing some really good fights. Also, i happen to believe this was a calculated move by EA to gauge interest. Having as many people online playing this game as UFC 3 shows there is a market for it. Count me among the ones who believe we will have a boxing game in the future.

If fighters and promoters were smart, they’d realize the huge benefit their fighters/promotion co. would receive by being in the game. Even if it was for free. It’s basically free marketing and promotion for a dying sport. I truly believe that FIFA video game was instrumental in helping bring a younger generation of Americans into soccer.

That reminds me of when Michael Corleone was talking about Hyman Roth dying from the same heart attack for the last twenty years.
I love it when non-boxing fans opine about the sport's critical state.

I’m far from a “non-boxing” fan, I’ve been a diehard boxing fan for 20+ years. But I’m also not some oblivious boxing homer. There are literally zero household boxers outside of Floyd, who is retired. In the 90s it was Tyson,Holyfield etc. 2000s we had Oscar, Pac-Man . I don’t need to go into the 80s and earlier.
And before you go into the inflated PPV numbers from a crossover fight between Connor and Floyd, look at the rest of the ppv numbers in the US. Yes, we’ve seen a spike recently, but if you think boxing is at the same level it was 20 -30 years ago, you’re crazy.

Yh I wouldn't say it's a dying sport. Boxing has always been mainstream, but think he just meant how it had been on a bit of the decline in popularity in past yrs.

LOL, like I would even mention Floyd-Conor to make an argument about boxing's popularity. And yet you throw that up there like it's important. I don't count that as a PPV boxing event.
    sva91
There are literally zero household boxers outside of Floyd, who is retired.

So if Crawford and Mikey Garcia sign to fight next month you're bummed out because they're not household names? Will you watch Adonis Stevenson this weekend or is his name recognition not big enough for you? Do you actually think the current state of boxing depends on how many fighters your sister can identify? I bet she didn't buy (PPV) Pavlik-Taylor 2 but who cares?
Do you notice a lot of televised bouts on TV these past few years? That's a lot of action for a dying sport. Any plans for HBO and Showtime to cancel the championship boxing coverage they've had for years? I hope they don't hear about boxing dying because I want to see a few more of those fights.
    sva91
But I’m also not some oblivious boxing homer.

LOL, it's not about being a homer, but a fan and with all the fights that have happened recently or are going to happen and all the money generated in PPV or non-PPV I can't wrap my head around a "diehard boxing fan" claiming the sport is dying.
But I can't read your mind so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. But I have to ask you-When does it actually die?

I don’t think you understand the bigger picture. I watch a lot of boxing. No, they don’t have to be household names, but for a company to invest millions of dollars into making a boxing game, they’d like have a marketable star. Being in a video game would give boxers exposure they and the sport desperately need. You think your average sports fan knows who Adonis is? The answer is no. “Dying” wasn’t the best term. But regressing in popularity? Yes.
That doesn’t mean a game can’t be profitable, but my bigger point, which you didn’t seem to comprehend, is that EA needs to figure out what amount of money in licensing costs is feasible for their company, when in reality, these boxers would benefit from doing the game for free just to help give boxing some momentum and exposure.

Ah ok , thought it might have been my download , hopefully just a bug and ea will sort it, it's just a bit annoying as you can't play against anyone that has been able to get the update, so narrows the playerbase a bit.

Not sure how you gathered that I couldn't comprehend something I never addressed. My only argument was that boxing was not dying. Having said that my argument wasn't relevant to the thread and I probably overreacted.
Boxers are not going to sell their image rights for free and if they're attached to a great game they wouldn't have to. You could have regional game covers that feature GGG in Europe, Canelo in Mexico, and Joshua in the UK. Throw in Adrien Broner for the US.

It makes me wonder if EA is doing this to test the waters on an updated boxing game.
IMO, if they still have Tyson's license, just rename the series "Mike Tyson Boxing" and non-boxing fans will lap it up.
Considering they imported the striking mechanics from FNC into UFC, I'd have to think a boxing game is basically written already.
I honestly think EA could pump out a boxing game fairly quickly with renewing all their licenses being the trickiest part.
(Brizzo commented on what a pain in the arse it was to get ahold of some of these fighters. Roy Jones Jr was the most difficult of them all. Even his agent said he had no idea how to get ahold of him - this was prior to him taking a gig as an HBO commentator).

I wouldn’t name the game anything other than Fight Night as picking one guy could impact getting other boxers.
And if any person behind a billion dollar business has a hard time getting in touch with a fighter, they are doing it wrong. Boxers are one of the easier athletes to get their cell number and sit down face to face.
If you send someone who understands the business and the sport, you could set up a suite in Vegas during canelo-ggg 2/boxfanexpo and a ton of named guys would drop by for a quick Mocap/pics and whatnot. Yes, not every fighter will do it for free, but many named guys just want to be asked. They want to be in the game. The rest, you send a guy who understands the business and the sport and you will get everyone you need and under budget. I would bet my life that a 30 minute meeting with a quick presentation of numbers with a guy like Eddie Hearn would result in major success. These guys aren’t dumb and they get the big picture...but you can’t send guys who don’t know how to position why fight night should be used as free advertising for the much bigger and important number.

That was FNR4. From what I heard, that one didn't do all that well in sales, considering it was competing with the new UFC 09 game. MMA and UFC were on the spike of rise at that time and that was their first game in yrs, so tons of ppl grabbed that game.

I dont think EA has ever thought there isnt interest. In fact, I've heard people at EA acknowledge that there is a good amount of interest in a boxing game.
What it always comes down to is what is more profitable. Not what is going to sell more necessarily but what is going to result in a bigger profit.

I think what it comes down to also is how important do you think the Ali, Tyson, Leonard and other classic licenses are. Those are the ones that really drive the cost up and even putting aside the license, developing a combat sports game isnt cheap
My question is would a new boxing game that only featured up and coming fighters like Joshua, Spence, Garcia, Loma, Thurman sell alot? I think it could do well and the licensing costs would be cheaper but would it sell enough to make as big of a profit as a UFC game does.
The UFC license automatically comes with the biggest fighters in its sport. A boxing game doesnt automatically come with that.

Yh I don't know if it would profit as much as UFC, but it has potential to for sure. With current popular boxing names and a few legends in there, along with the fact that a boxing game would also be a bit more accessible to the casual audience, you may have a big seller on your hands. I mean who would have expected a 7 yr old FN game to get this much buzz? Game went from 200 and some to over 2000 players online out of no where.

After such a long boxing game drought, I think it'd sell great regardless of how many legends are included. If they gave us a solid roster of current stars. I'd be happy. GGG, Canelo, etc. would help the cause for sure.

But just have all the current guys and I feel the game would sell well too. People are in the market for the game.

You know how this debate or argument going to go with me being a fan of boxing, gaming, retired boxer, friend of many boxers, and former EA Fight Night Senior Community Leader. I'm pro boxing and I can see how this could work and sell extremely well. There is plenty of money circulating in boxing because major networks are picking them up. Eddie Hearn just got a 8 billion dollar deal for boxing. Certain groups of fans keep pushing the boxing is dead in America but if you are following boxing. Boxing says Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder both will make more money fighting in America than England.
    * I stay trying to figure out a way both sides will come out on top. I just got off the phone talking to a 7 time title challenger(Chop Chop Coley). A great product will sell. The way social media and word of mouth goes I can't see a boxing videogame especially now doing bad. Known cover athletes or not. The Boxing fans were more into debating not having a major boxing figure. Many fans learned the boxers on the go because it was just a fighting game to them.
Is there a way to upload your face for boxer creation on Xbox one? The only 2 ways it shows how to do so is by using the Xbox live vision camera or uploading a picture to the EA servers. Well, the EA servers are down so I'm only left with the choice of Xbox live vision camera. Does anyone know if they Xbox live vision camera will work with Xbox one?? Do i need a Kinect?? Or can I just use any random webcam to get this accomplished?? Any feedback here would be greatly appreciated.

Boxing isnt dead. Only idiots try to push that narrative.
There is alot of money in boxing currently but that doesnt necessarily equate to video game sales. The reason Hearn got a huge TV deal and Arum got his ESPN deal is because live sports is a very valuable commodity right now. Its the same reason that WWE and UFC will sign billion dollar deals for TV rights in the US this year.
Hardcore boxing fans will buy a new boxing game no matter what. Outside of them, I'm sure there is a good amount of people who would buy a boxing game no matter who was in it. With that said, I think the roster matters to a lot of people.
Lets put aside the legends. Lets use the list that SVA91 posted of active fighters he wants to see. I assume that EA would be negotiating with their managers but lets say they try to do it through their promoters:
    1. GGG (K2)
    2. Canelo (Golden Boy)
    3. Joshua (Matchroom)
    4. Wilder (Haymon)
    5. Loma (Top Rank)
    7. Danny Garcia. (Haymon)
    8 Mikey Garcia (Matchroom)
    9. Thurman (Haymon)
    10. Kell Brook (Matchroom)
    11. Kovalev (Duva)
    12. Tyson fury (Matchrrom)
    13. Porter (Haymon)
    14. Errol Spence (Haymon)
    15. Pacqiao (Top Rank)
    16. Crawford (Top Rank)
    17. Rigondeaux(Top Rank)
So for just those 17 fighters, you would have to negotiate with 6 different promoters. All with different demands. All with different prices. Thats one of the biggest problems.
With the UFC deal, you have access to 500 fighters for one price. No chasing around promoters or managers to get them to sign the deal. No using your Business Affairs team to negotiate and draft 50-100 individual fighters deal. No juggling of a budget to make sure that all the money paid to fighters doesnt go over it.
Putting a boxing game together at the level of FNC is difficult and expensive. There are plenty of fighters who would be OK with doing it for free but I doubt anyone on that list would be willing to and those are the fighters the game needs.
I'd say EA's best hope for a broad consumer response would be to include Mayweather. Otherwise, an EA boxing game would maybe do a little better than their hockey franchise.
There needs to be a flare to the game that, right now, only Mayweather can bring. You can't use Tyson or Ali anymore.

Yh you have a point. Boxing isn't like the UFC where you just get the contract and have access to everything. Makes me wonder what the budgets where like for past FN games.

I dont agree with that at all. FNC sold almost 2 million copies. NHL averages around 1 mil. The simple fact that this would be the first new boxing game in 7 years alone would drive sales alone. Its the same thing that happened with THQ's first Undisputed game. It is the highest selling MMA game of all time primarily because it was the first AAA MMA game made in years.
Mayweather could help but again you have to factor in the cost of getting him to sign against the number of sales he would bring to the game.

Yh i'm sure it would be a pain in the arse to get Mayweather to sign, but he definitely would boost sales alot. People have wanted Mayweather in FN forever. Another thing I thought of too is what if they just made a remastered version of FNC. A version with current gen graphics, new current fighters added to the roster and maybe a new mode or two...wouldn't that cancel out some of the hassle?

Dont think it would be worth it.
One, the same game with 4k graphics likely wouldnt be sold at the same amount as a new game. That equals less profits for EA.
Two, if you add new fighters and modes, an argument can be made that its a new game. Many of the fighters in FNC were signed for contracts specific to the game. For example, lets say I'm Roy Jones Jr and I signed a contract for FNC for 100k 8 yrs ago.
The minute I discover that there are new modes/fighters, I'm arguing that this is a new game even if you call it a remaster and I'm demanding that you either pay me or I'm going to sue. Typically when someone remasters something its to improve the graphical or audio quality...its not to change the content in any way.

Agreed. Licensing has to be a huge headache for EA. Has anyone heard any rumors of a new fight night ? I’ve been searching a bit. I’m really hoping we get some news during E3, but I figured some rumors would’ve leaked by now.

Nah. And if they do have plans to make a new one, probably won't be until after UFC 4 tbh.

Yh you're definitely right about that. Really hope we see a new one in the future though...or at least a remaster. If not, this would probably be the first console life cycle that an AAA boxing title hasn't been a part of.

The FNC ratings commision ought to be fired for giving Sonny Liston a paltry 15 rating on his LEFT HOOK to the head.

I feel like both Sonny's hooks should have been maxed out. He was a good puncher and hit hard with anything, but hooks were his best punches imo.

I read somewhere that EA will be announcing a 'new sports' game at E3, I'd say a new boxing game would be considered 'new' as it has been 7yrs, my interpretation of 'new' was not fifa, madden etc.
Cant think of many other up and coming sports that EA dont already have or would be interested in..?
I'm hoping its a boxing game with a different name.
Minor point but I wish FNC or a future game would have an automatic response to getting up from knockdowns based on chin and heart with stamina being a smaller factor.

Same here but for selfish reasons. I'm HORRIBLE at that mini game and if I get knocked down a second time in a fight it's pretty much a guaranteed KO.

Hope you're right and it's not hyperbole where it's actually NBA Live renamed or something.
I'd love it if it's either a new FNC or MVP.

As much as i love boxing...i WISH that game would be college football.

Well one can only hope and i'm definitely not to confident it would be a boxing game, but I really hope so.

PES lost the rights to the Champions League.
I bet this will be FIFA being rebranded or something.
If it's truly a new sports game, I can only think it'll be either boxing or baseball.
I read that EA is teasing a new Action game. Could this be the real 'new' game that EA was referring to?
Is it truly a new sports title they're producing?
