Coming off one of the best programs in DD history with the Legends of the Franchise, we now get the Fall Stars Program. This one also looks like it will be memorable, but it just won’t have quite as many players in it. However, you will be able to get 5 of the 9 bosses for free, and there are more individual players than usual to collect as you go through the program. Let’s get right into things here.

I don’t love either pitcher here, but the crop of hitters looks promising. Willie Stargell has plenty of pop, Joe Carter has a had a little renaissance this year in the game, Kirk Gibson has been a favorite since launch with his collection reward, and then Luis Gonzalez has maxed out power against LHP/RHP and that sweet open stance. If you compare them to the Bosses, they’re not as impressive, but they’re just extra goodies here and that makes them all delicious.
Fall Stars Bosses
It’s very easy to see the trend here, and it’s basically SDS saying “you don’t need any other cards besides these.” These are cards you release when a game is winding down, and it’s how Jimmie Foxx gets maxed out hitting ratings along with Babe Ruth. Perhaps the one player who didn’t get “insane” ratings is Finest Francisco Lindor, but he’s still a switch-hitting shortstop with a known great swing.
Looking at the options overall, I think I’m going to take at least two of the Takashi Okazaki cards for collection purposes, and from there it’s hard not to take at least one of Ruth or Foxx. After that, my guess is Eckersley or Gibson will be the best pitchers of the trio here.

Ghoulish Bat Conquest
The Ghoulish Bat Conquest map is worth 45,000 XP. There are no specific goals that you need to pay special attention to, so just complete the map and conquer all the strongholds to get a Legends pack, a Takashi Okazaki Set 2 pack, and other goodies.
Fall Stars Showdown
You will get 30,000 XP for completing the Fall Stars Showdown. The final boss is Dennis Eckersley and there are four mini bosses before reaching him.
