F1 2019 Career Mode Details Revealed
Codemasters has revealed details for F1 2019 career mode, which includes the all-new F2 Feeder Series.
It starts off with selecting an F2 team, then taken through a series of scenarios that will create the standout moments of your F2 season, prior to your entry into F1.
The scenarios have more than one outcome, for example, did you choose to let your faster teammate past or not? Your choices are key here. That’s not all; the Feeder Series also gives you a number of cutscenes that allow these choices to play out via your interactions with the game’s new characters: Lukas Weber, your teammate, and Devon Butler, your closest rival.
Here’s the thing: the choices you make are remembered by the game, and can continue to inform the kinds of questions asked by the press not just during the Feeder Series, but throughout your career in F1. The range of questions the press can ask has also been expanded beyond those in F1 2018. And it’s not just the reporters – the commentators will also remember the events of the Feeder Series and refer to them when discussing you and your F2 rivals.

Also sounds to me like these two fictional characters that become your rivals transfer with you into F1?? That's the impression I got anyways. If that's the case, I may play through it once to see what it's all about, then scrap it. It seems you have the option to start a career by skipping the F2 part, so that's what I'll do. I dont want myself, and two other fictional drivers in my F1 career.
Now, if you can have multiple career saves like we always have in the past, then problem solved. Run one career driver starting in F2 with the fake rival characters, run another starting straight into F1 without that stuff. Problem solved. I hope.
Can't stress this enough though, REALLY disappointed you can't create your own team in career mode. You can create your own car livery in multiplayer, why not just port that over to Career and add in a new team with two new cars. It would integrate so well with the F2 rivals, especially if one (your most hated) becomes your rival and teammate. Oh well, that's probably in the works for 2020 as a new feature. Seems to be the way sports games go now. Luckily though, this one has plenty of reasons buy annually still.

What I heard him say in his latest video was your RIVAL could transfer. And you of course. Not the other drivers.

Wait, what?!
Link? So I can educate myself in the next.... little over an hour before I can play lol
Amazing! I thought it just meant the F2 rival drivers transfer over, but it's actually real drivers transferring teams. Even better. Some are going to clamor for the ability to turn it off I bet, but either way that's really cool
