EA and Microsoft are working together to resolve the Madden NFL 22 trial countdown timer issues on Xbox Series X|S. The countdown timer seems to be ticking down for most users even though the game has been closed out. Some users get a message stating they are too early to actually play the trial.

For those of you that can get into the trial, the workaround for the time being is to close out of Madden NFL 22 then shut down your console completely to keep the countdown timer from running in the background.
For players who may have lost time in the trial, we are working to resolve this and ensure impacted players have the opportunity to get their full Madden NFL 22 Trial experience. We will be updating this forum thread with additional details as soon as possible.
Microsoft is tracking the issue on their Xbox Status page as well.
